Chris’ Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on September 23, 2016September 27, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 2 No. 1 Nicconi Leggera Lightly raced filly from the Chris Munce yard who returned in good style at the Gold Coast recently with a strong finishing victory. Although that was a month back she’ll still strip fitter and judging on her prior performances (one win and an unlucky second) she’ll prove very hard to beat here. Drawn ok and the 3kg claim for Josh Oliver is a bonus. Each-way. RACE 4 No. 1 Secret Puzzle Well performed mare who again found the 1600m trip beyond her here last Saturday which was the fourth time in four tries she’s unplaced over the mile. Back to 1400m tomorrow suits nicely as she was a winner here over that trip the start prior in very easy fashion by over 5 lengths. She will have to deal with a decent weight rise however just looks a shade better than these. RACE 7 No. 1 Brazen Moss Super consistent galloper from the Gollan yard who looked like he had the race in his keeping here last Saturday before the winner descended right down the outside to claim him near the line. That was his first run for 5 weeks suggesting he’ll strip fitter for tomorrow’s assignment over a distance range he has previously placed over (1900m-Canterbury). Hard to beat.
