Race 1

IM STEALTHY (2) has the draw to work to the lead and dominate, he is an exciting talent and looks nearly impossible to run down when he’s in the role as pacemaker. D MAC (4) is right on par with him but has the draw disadvantage, will have to the do the work again but looks a strong top two player, he did a mountain of work and was an outstanding run last time out with HAVTIMEFORMIKI (7) who draws poorly, will get to see him sat up and run home. GENTLEMANS PROMISE (1) can run top 4 from the draw with PROPOSITION JOE (5) facing a good test to get a gauge on his overall levels.

Suggested Bet: IM STEALTHY/D MAC to Exacta.

Race 2

Good race with the barrier draws making it even more interesting, I’m a big fan of MISS LEOPATRA (10) and thought she trialled up well, she is following out the potential leader and should get a good run, you will get an inflated price due to the requirement of luck but if she gets out, I think she will be hard to hold out. IM CATEGORY FIVE (1) has yet to come back to her best but has the speed to lead, has options from there but think she can improve. SKINNY DIPPIN (4) will be the one to beat if she can lead, she beat D Mac two starts ago but thought she was just average last time out, once again that was against the boys, good test for her but looks a major player. BET IM HOT (2) rises in grade but is a novelty chance with MANUKA BAY (6), MAAS ATTACK (8), KATAMA (11) and SHIMMERING (12).

Suggested Bet: MISS LEOPATRA (10) to win.

Race 3

ICE COLD SAPPORO (4) hit the line well first up for Stuart McDonald and looks a solid chance to work his way to the top, he was out of picture most of the last 400m but in a quick last half I thought he hit the line well and drops back in grade. CURADH (7) is a consistent performer who has a lot of high speed, faces a tricky draw again but just needs some luck to play a part. THE BEAUDSTER (9) trialled better than he raced, could improve in this. DOURADO (12) is racing well and needs a touch of luck but will be running on with CIGANDA (11).

Tips: 4 7 12 9

Suggested Bet: ICE COLD SAPPORO (4) to win.

Race 4

NEVER ENDING (5) is dropping right back in grade and will be driven aggressively in this, looks the one to beat but it has been a while between drinks for his supporters, wouldn’t dive in too short but looks the testing material. SKYLORD (1) is racing better with a sit, think he’s got the speed to lead early and look for cover, could get into the money. GOODFELLAZ (2) gets a better draw to improve, could be aggressive and want to hold the lead. CAPTAIN RAVISHING (10) trialled well and thought he did a fantastic job in Queensland for the Inter Dominion Carnival; he will be running on strongly with even luck. OUR CRUNCH TIME (12) faces a difficult draw but has strings to his bow.

Suggested Bet: SKYLORD (1) to place.

Race 5

Difficult race to work out. LUVBITE (3) comes in fresh after some magnificent form, he’ll be confused seeing a mobile for the first time since the Winter Cup. Emily Suvaljko electing to drive this over the hyped BEACH DIAMOND (4) and her beloved PENNY BLACK (7) is a good indicator and looks a chance to lead, will run a big race. BEACH DIAMOND (4) has shown promise but faces a tricky draw to work with and PENNY BLACK (7) is racing well and likely to look to be in the breeze. ALTA TRIBUTE (12) is in top form, and the distance will suit him, bring him right into it late. BETTORS PRIDE (6) racing well and has some early speed but isn’t one that can do his own dirty work if he doesn’t lead. YOURE SO FINE (8) is ready to win but needs luck from the draw and SWEET PINS (11) racing in top form. HARRISON JOHN (10) faces a difficult draw and hard to get a gauge on first up effort.

Tips: 3 7 12 8

Suggested Bet: LUVBITE (3) to win.

Race 6

MIKIS PRIDE (1) has been improving with every run and gets the perfect draw, has the speed to lead and looks very hard to run down. LOUIE LEBEAU (10) thrives on the pegs runs and looks to be leaders back here and is a great novelty chance from the draw. OUR TWINKLE (7) will give us a good gauge on where he is at, does what he must do but this will be a good test. SUGAR DELIGHT (11) and SWEET VIVIENNE (12) must be respected with their high speed, but the latter is on return. CAPTAIN SAID SO (6) is a novelty chance.

Suggested Bet: MIKIS PRIDE (1) to win.

Race 7

WE WALK BY FAITH (12) reads up well for this on WA debut, has form around the likes of Leap To Fame, The Janitor and The Lazarus Effect in New Zealand and this looks a perfect starting point, hard to beat. STORMY VISTA (9) will be driven to get forward in the run and would be cheeky if able to find the top. GETN WIGGY WITHIT (6) has come back well but this is much harder for mine. ARTFUL MAJOR (11) is racing consistently and is always around the mark with MACHNIFICENT (10) who will be running on strongly and BLAMEITONTHENIGHT (8) is always a novelty chance.

Tips: 12 9 10 11

Suggested Bet: WE WALK BY FAITH (12) to win.

Race 8

GOODTIME LOUIS (2) was a good effort at Pinjarra on Monday, fought on strongly and has the speed to lead, will be hard to run down in this with ELITE FLEET (8) looking to be put into the race early, he will want to be on speed in this grade and last effort was good following the nice types. WAVE REBELLION (5) was sound on return; she has a good turn of foot but can’t be used early so will get back and require a genuine tempo to bring her into it. FULL SWING DENARIO (12) is suited to this drop back in grade and can punch through and be handy in the run. MY HAMMER DOWN (7) rises in grade but looks a genuine type. PRINCE OF TRIBECA (5) and FOLLOW ROCKNROLL (11) both novelty chances.

Tips: 2 8 12 5

Suggested Bet: GOODTIME LOUIS (2) to win.

Race 9

GRUMPEE (7) v MAJESTIC GA GA (10) looks to be the battle on paper, and it really is hard to go one way or the other. GRUMPEE (7) is benefited by being on the handicap advantage but has been strong through the line and broke the track record at Pinjarra last start and MAJESTIC GA GA (10) was an insane performance to run the times she did, she is in rare air and I do believe they will fight it out again. BEE BEE BEROC (2) was a good effort two starts when setting the tempo in track record time and won well last time out, he can jump and run and be around the place. MYSTERY FRED (9) will be running on well; last couple haven’t been as potent as prior runs. LAVRADORE (1) a novelty chance in this grade with ULTIMATE TESS (4) who is consistent.

Tips: 7 10 2 9

Suggested Bet: GRUMPEE/MAJESTIC GA GA to Quinella.

Race 10

Open race to finish. LORD PUBLISHER (1) gets the draw and is a good front running type, looks a strong chance to want to hold the top and give them something to catch, much better horse on speed. ISEEUBABY (6) is a talent, but she seems to not be able to run any further than 1700m, first up for Michael Young and see what he can get out of her but at this point she is just all high speed. SUGAR STREET (10) drawn well and broke through on Tuesday; he will follow speed well and is a chance to go back-to-back. MAJOR OVERS (4) is racing consistently, and MARTYR (5) has improved in recent runs, tricky draws for both. SLIPALONG SAINT (11) and BET ON THE RIVER (3) won’t be too far away.
