Race 1

CARA DIANA (1) has the good draw and has the speed to be in front, winner two starts back and the distance suits and should be further improved fitness wise. AMERICAN TYPHOON (2) has plenty of speed and comes in first up into the preparation, capable type in this grade. CANELO (7) faces a challenging draw, needs some luck but elevated late last preparation and if he was to return to anywhere near that he will be in the money. BEALAWYER (12) will be charging home again, racing consistently as always. METEOROID (11) will be running on. Novelty chances to GALVINSTON JOHN (5), VISITING HOURS (8) and BE HOME SOON (9).

Race 2

WALL STREET GIRL (8) is suited in this grade, can let things unfold and be put into the race and this looks her race on paper, hard to beat. STRAUNY (1) will be coming out and looking for the top, continues to improve with every run this prep. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (3) races well on speed and looks to be in a decent position throughout. AKOYA PEARL (9) is suited in this grade and will be dangerous late. MAD PUNTA (2) racing soundly and is a novelty chance with DRIVE LINE (4) and GOGGINS (10).

Suggested Bet: WALL STREET GIRL (8) to win.

Race 3

CHARIVARI (2) is ideally drawn and comes in fresh and is a good on speed pacer, he has been a beaten favourite on a few occasions which is concerning but gets a good opportunity here. TRUE GRIT (1) races well on speed and should get a good run and be dangerous if the gaps open late. ZLATO (11) racing consistently and can punch through and lob handy to them. THOMSON BAY (10) is nicely drawn and is a novelty chance from that position with other chances to TUBBS FARQUHAR (4), BALINGUP BOY (5) and ART IDEAL (8).

Suggested Bet: TRUE GRIT (1) each way.

Race 4

DOUGS LEGACY (5) looks a solid chance in this, looks to map well and should run a good race being close to the speed. CHIEF COPY (7) has been racing well and looks a solid chance as he will be on speed again, major player if he could lead but that looks unlikely with DAMAGE DONE (4) likely to cross and want to hold the top. WESMEDAD (1) is a novelty chance with ELLEOFAREACTOR (3), MACH FREEWAY (9) and BAND OF ROCK (10).

Tips: 5 7 4 10

Suggested Bet: DOUGS LEGACY (5) to win.

Race 5

INTO THE FUTURE (4) will charge across and look to lead, he has been luckless as of late and looks to get a good opportunity. JOEY JAMES (5) is ready to win and will slide across into a position and be running on strongly. MAJOR MANHATTAN (2) has the better draw to settle closer and that can be a big difference for him to be a winning chance. ALWAYS CHANGIN (9) will be running on, looking to improve further. MORE THAN HONOURED (1) is a novelty chance.

Tips: 4 5 2 9

Suggested Bet: INTO THE FUTURE (4) each way.

Race 6

STELLAR EDITION (2) was brilliant on return and has the draw, should run to the top and be winning this comfortably but will be very short. LUKE ATTACK (10) has the soft draw and likely be three back the pegs and when the gaps open, I think he can be placed. TORREVEAN AMY (1) is racing soundly, nice draw and is a novelty chance. RAVENOUS ROMEO (11) has come back well and will run on well with the high speed. BIG BOZZ (5), KARAOKE STAR (4), CLOUD NINE (6) and VINTAGE BLU (7) are novelty chances but will find it harder given they’ll be off the marker pegs where it will be dynamite.

Suggested Bet: LUKE ATTACK (10) to place.

Race 7

BONPOPPY (10) is third up into the prep and has a soft draw, will be three back the pegs at the worst and if she can get into the clear late, she will be hard to hold out. AXLE ROCKS (1) has yet to fire since returning but has options from the draw as at the mile he looks an improver. FIREBALL FRIDAY (2) isn’t brilliant out but is racing well enough to be dangerous in this grade. SPINNER OF YARNS (5) suited in this grade and will settle on speed. BLIND EDITION (4) is a novelty chance with SEVEN NO TRUMPS (8) who won at Wagin but faces a difficult draw. OURFIRSTIMPRESSION (12) and SHES MY LITTLE GEM (11) won’t be too far away.

Suggested Bet: BONPOPPY (10) each way.
