Went looking for the stronger types for tonight’s meeting, with a lot of rain around the track will be wet and heavy and is certainly not going to favour the speedy weaker types, So Wise Barra finally gets a draw she will appreciate, her last 6 have all been off unsuitable inside draws, with a stack of early speed drawn in low she just may get the fly around them if they happen to tangle up, great each way play to kick us off.

Race 6 No. 1 Ferndale Flyer

Will love the step back up to the 601 metre journey, won a heat of the derby before having no luck in the final, has had the experience over the journey with a win and a 2nd, is very strong so will get through the conditions no problems. Inside draw is a bonus. Looks to good for these.

Race 9 No. 4 Bangor Tiger

He’s still learning the caper this guy, his green as grass but he has a massive engine, he lacks early pace but he floods home hard, he’s definitely one id love to see in the 601 metre novices, again with the rain and heavy track predicted to be around he is the one that will be charging home late. Just need luck early and in the middle stages so he navigate his path to victory.
