Race 1

Open race over the mile. TRUE GRIT (3) has some early speed and chased hard in metro company on Friday night, overall, his form has been strong for a race of this nature and appears hardest to beat. GET YA BETS ON (9) is racing in terrific form but barrier 9 over the mile is less than ideal. VINNIES STAR (10) dominated in a slowly run race, he is a solid type who likes to be out in the open, so the draw isn’t as suitable for him, needs some luck but is improving. BILLYJAMES (2) could attempt a forward position and races well on speed. SWITCH BLADE (11) is very consistent and must be respected. BONSTAR (1) a novelty chance from the draw. CULLEN STAR (8) could improve but draw hurts.

Suggested Bet: TRUE GRIT (3) to win.

Race 2

UNDER THE ALTA (9) continues to improve and is one of the few in the race that can be driven with authority in this, likely to work forward and try and breeze and think he is not far away from breaking through. SONIC SEELSTER (5) looks the early leader with that brilliance and will run a decent race but doesn’t win out of turn. LOCAL RESIDENT (8) must be kept safe in this, has shown he has the ability but is coming in first up for the new stable. ZUEDE (2) will run his usual race. STRIKE MASTER (3) needs a touch of luck but won’t be far away. SONIC CHIP (11) capable but first up and DOUGS LEGACY (12) rises in grade but should improve with it.

Suggested Bet: UNDER THE ALTA (9) to win.

Race 3

MADDY ROCKS (1) is an expected improver from the draw as she has some gate speed and should be prominent in the run, expecting her to have a great deal of market respect. BLITZAR (2) is racing well, he did the work two starts ago and was good and then backed it up with a good, sustained effort 3 wide on the way home behind Miss Uneek, go well here. HEEZ GOOD AS GOLD (3) has good early speed and may have a crack, this is a drop down on recent runs and didn’t have any luck last time out. LEAVEAMESSAGE (7) will be hoping to be brought into it with some tempo, she can run on well. LONESTAR WARRIOR (10) a novelty chance on return from the good draw.

Suggested Bet: BLITZAR (2) to win.

Race 4

Another challenging race here. KOOLBARDI NAVAJO (5) has plenty of high speed and talent, must be respected in the return run and will be close. DARK EYES (6) hit the line well last time out and has some early speed, expect him to really spike an improvement in this. STRAUNY (4) could show his best in this and don’t think he is far off the mark, and his toughness will come into the equation in this race. ROLLINDOWNTHERIVER (1) has the nice draw and has options, won’t be far away here. AWAITINGINSTRUCTIONS (2) is one dimensional but has the draw to be close enough. BEAT THE BANK (3) capable and has a decent draw, should be close to the speed. SOUND WAVE (10) a novelty chance with the returning SUN PUBLISHER (11).

Suggested Bet: DARK EYES (6) to win.

Race 5

ALDEBARAN BOYD (5) is coming off a metro victory where he did the work in the final circuit and has plenty of early speed, looks likely to bounce to the lead and be very hard to beat in this. MYSTERY FRED (10) comes in with some decent form from Victoria, has a tricky draw to work with but must be respected. MRIYA DREAM (4) has good speed and if he does it correctly, he will be handy. LINE THE STARZZZ (11) racing soundly but had every chance Friday with CHUMANI (6) who was off a tougher handicap, both the stablemates are chances here. BEE BEE BEROC (9) faces a challenging draw.

Suggested Bet: ALDEBARAN BOYD (5) to win.

Race 6

BETTATHENLIFE (3) should go on her winning way as she looks to work through her grades, she can run times that not many, if any could run in this race. RUIA (8) is a progressive mare who will win her fair share of races this time in and looks the genuine top 2 chance. MADAM TIGER (1) shouldn’t have to bustled early here and can be safe and become a strong place chance. CAPTAIN COOPER (5) rises in grade off the back of a maiden victory but was dominant. LEEROY ROX (6) and LUZIA (7) both novelty chances from tricky draws.

Suggested Bet: BETTATHANLIFE/RUIA to Exacta.

Race 7

SUPREMEDREAM (1) is well bred and looks to have ability, has the draw and looks to have struck a winnable maiden, hard to beat. LETS RATTLNROLL (9) was a solid run last time out and faces a tough draw but has plenty of high speed and must be respected as a strong winning chance. ARISE LAZARUS (2) returns from the nice draw and is a chance. LADY OF LEITH (3) would be hard to beat if she led on what we saw two and three starts ago but was well held last time out, respect as a chance. ROCKNROLL DILINGER (6) and CHEVRONS GOLD (8) both chances but have tough draws.

Suggested Bet: SUPREMEDREAM (1) to win.

Race 8

Plenty of chances here. ICANPLAY (1) has the draw and options and was luckless last time out, likes to race close to the speed and could be an improver in this. DANGER (5) is knocking on the door, and the small field suits his chances. ELLEOFAREACTOR (4) comes in fresh but is a capable type, respect in this. SOUTHERN ROCK (6) is improving nicely and this grade looks suitable, but the draw is awkward. AGENT ANDY (8) is not the worst but needs luck and DAWSON SHARD (9) hasn’t had much luck recently but has at least been doing everything right and is worth throwing in to your exotics.
