Gee he’s racing really well in the twilight of his career, ran a slashing 4th in the Anniversary Cup final last start up in town, this is a fair drop in grade back to a grade 4/5 series. Drawn in low, expect him to roll forward early and be on the speed.

Race 6 No. 6 Pam Keeping

Very rare I tip one of my own, and box 6 on the bend start is not normally a recipe for success, but it doesn’t look to bad for her, 5 does not have much early speed, and box 7 generally takes a step to the right, so if she can begin well which she normally does, she looks to get a clean run to the corner, hopefully vying for the early lead, she’s 2/2 at the track and trip and $8 I thought she was over the odds definitely worth an each way ticket.

Race 10 No. 3 Trunkey Rebel

She’s racing well and finds herself in a very winnable race, you have to go back 5 runs when she was runner up in 17.21 from this very draw, with not a lot of speed drawn around her, she can find the top and return back into the winners’ circle in this affair.
