Race 1 (Best Bet)

DAMAGE DONE (3) has the speed to lead basically untouched here and at the distance he can just keep them at his wheel and chasing and think he can get a victory here, doesn’t win out of turn but the stars are aligning here. ELVIRA JANE (5) is working into the preparation nicely and has ability, will have to go forward and should be around the mark. ALTACHAERA (10) trialled well before doing the work in the breeze on return, will be getting home well but barrier 10 over a mile is never an easy task. IM SPUD (7) is racing better than form suggests, will be running on with stable mate WELLOILED (8).

Suggested Bet: DAMAGE DONE (3) to win.

Race 2

BETTOR WASH UP (6) has the speed to charge across and with most of the horses underneath being moderate beginners I think he can slingshot to the top and this horse is knocking loudly at the door, deserves a win. GAMETIME (8) had no luck last time out and that run can be forgiven, prior form has been consistent and should be in the thick of it again. CAPTURE THE MOMENT (1) has good early speed and will be on speed, has options from the draw. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE (7) going well and drawn to get the soft run, if the field open expect him to ignite and run on well. CHARLI BROWN (10) is capable on his best behaviour. KARAOKE STAR (3) was basically KO’d on Tuesday and still ran on well; he is on the improve but early speed isn’t his finest attribute.

Suggested Bet: BETTOR WASH UP (6) to win.

Race 3

Open race. SHESA DELIGHT (1) caught my eye at Pinjarra, ran well and hit the line strongly and that was coming back from a freshen up, has options from the draw and looks a chance in this. SANFORD BART (8) is racing well and will require some luck from here as he doesn’t do much of his own dirty work. SANFORD HARRY (3) was poor last run but good decent on return, has good early speed and can run well in this. ELEPHANT ROCK (10) is capable but hard to get a gauge on his form this time in. ICANPLAY (4) is around the mark and has some early speed. LOWLANDS BEACH BOY (7) is a rolling type so will need to get into the clear to wind up early enough. MONTERIO (6) is a tricky horse to follow, capable but draw is challenging.

Suggested Bet: SHESA DELIGHT (1) each way.

Race 4

Competitive race here. ALWAYSBFRANK (1) will be looking to lead, he is on the improve and was encouraging last run, at his best he is a good front runner. ITSOKTOBEGREY (8) is racing in top form and should settle close enough and run on strongly again. EYE BETTER (6) and SHES A MARE (9) both get back run home types who are racing quite similar. WICKED WINDERMERE (4) doesn’t know how to run a bad race, will likely be in the money again. SHESA ENCHANTRESS (2) rises to the middle distance after some good form in the lightning laps and it can be hard for horses to take that rise initially.

Suggested Bet: ALWAYSBFRANK (1) to win.

Race 5

MAJIC BAY (3) hit the line well last time out and has some good early speed and they may push the button and look to take luck out of the equation in this, if he finds the top he will take all kinds of running down. NEVERTELLMETHEODDS (6) will likely be outside the speed and races well there, will be sticking on well. ALEXANDRA THEGREAT (2) is a chance if she can step around the pole marker early and be handy in the run. HOT ROD (7) will be running on well, holding consistency in recent runs. CODENAME ELLIOT (4) on the quick backup but was eye catching in his return run for Kristian Hawkins.

Tips: 3 6 7 2

Suggested Bet: MAJIC BAY (3) to win.

Race 6

LAKE PICHOLA (3) will likely push hard off the arm and look for the top here and if he can find that position, he is going to be very hard to beat. MAGIC CAPTAIN (9) on the quick backup and is suited, will push into the race after they settle and run a bold race if he backs up okay. BALTIC ACE (8) is heading in the right direction and will get a soft run from the back line, expect him to run home stoutly. IM ROCKIN ROD (2) is a novelty chance if he can step around the pole marker and respect to SLIPALONG SAINT (4) who is capable and YAWOMA (6) who is rarely far away.

Suggested Bet: LAKE PICHOLA (3) to win.

Race 7

BEAU TOULOUSE (3) was a bold effort before breaking against some nice types at Pinjarra, has good early speed and looks hard to beat if he can find the top here. LIVY ANN (1) is ideally drawn, and she thrives when racing on speed, could be dangerous late. GINGER SNAPS (6) did things wrong last time out but has ability and will need to be at her best from the draw. BROOME BEACH (8) will be running on strongly, he isn’t the safest pacer going around and Narrogin can be a challenge for those types, his form is good enough but it’s something to be mindful of with his first look at the track. ALL AT ONCE (2) racing well and has good ability, well-deserved win last time out. MAXMEMATE (7) drawn to get a soft run and is a novelty chance with INVISIBLE EVIL (5) who returns from a tricky draw.
