Scott Embry’s Thursday Pinjarra Preview Posted on June 27, 2019 | Posted by Scott Embry Scott Embry’s Preview Race 1 RIVALRY GLORE settled off the speed over a mile last start and the big fellow really knuckled down late when Turner pulled the whip into the left hand. Looks like he will make a stayer and his closing sections suggest he can run over these. If he jumps with them and stays the trip he’ll be hard to hold out. SNOW BAMBOO is also on trial at the trip but has been finishing off well from back in the field. ALIMENTARIA absolutely walked them last start, first 1000m approximately 14L slower than average. She will be winning races but willing to risk here. HIGHEST REGARD looks like he will keep grinding. Numbers: 4 – 10 – 9 – 5 Suggested Bet – RIVALRY GALORE WIN Race 2 FIRESALE can be forgiven for a first-up flop. Most of Brett Popes horses do excel down the straight but he never looked comfortable. Can box seat and bounce back in this. MISS MANDY has always shown ability and looked to thrive in the wet in a recent trial. DIAMOND TRADE has been very well supported on a number of occasions so far this preparation and continues to hit the line hard. BLITZ’EM BOOTS has trialed like she has some ability and Pike goes on. Numbers: 1 – 7 – 10 – 12 Suggested Bet – FIRESALE WIN Race 3 INDIGO WILD comes out of three 1000m races this preparation and will look to head straight across towards the fence for Boondie Stone. By race 3 punters will know whether the fence is hot, like it normally is at Pinny, or if it is off because of the rain. BRUCE ALMIGHTY trialed well with the shades on and either leads or takes the sit on Indigo Wild. SUPER TEROITOA was a super trial before nothing went right first-up. Month between runs and shades on, keep in mind. BOOTLEG RASCAL went well fresh and Diamond Trade will give an insight into the strength of the form in the previous. Numbers: 12 – 10 – 5 – 3 Suggested Bet – INDIGO WILD EACHWAY Race 4 MIDNIGHT HOUR could give Tayla Stone and Jason Pateman a race to race double if they salute in the previous event. Strong effort on debut in a race which could prove a very strong form reference. Fought on strongly and can give this a shake. NICKODEMA trialed well for debut, chasing a fair way from home she kept coming behind a nice enough type and ran through the line. Needs luck from the draw. I HOPE YOU DANCE hit the line well in a fast run trial when tracking wide throughout. RICH TURF promised to win a race all last preparation but failed to do so. Trialed well and draws soft. Numbers: 7 – 16 – 15 – 12 Suggested Bet – MIDNIGHT HOUR EACHWAY Race 5 AMILLIONITE put the writing on the wall first-up. This is a far weaker race than that and as long as Pike can find a spot in running he should prove too strong for what looks a fair limited bunch on paper. POLITE PASS has been hitting the line very well this preparation, can definitely upset the favourite with the right run. CARMEL BAY went better last start and should get it soft three back the fence. STABLE GENIUS is drawn poorly but has showed ability in his short career. Numbers: 13 – 11 – 1 – 2 Suggested Bet – AMILLIONITE WIN Race 6 LUCKY LINDA LULU has only won the two races in her career but both were when drawn soft at Pinjarra Park. She has blinkers on for the first time and is rarely far from the action. Form has been consistently good all preparation and gets her chance. FROSTY BAY was brave in defeat last start when run down by the talented filly Maschino Miss. Finds the front and controls, hard to run down. FAIRY FAST never got going first-up. The form around Samizdat is strong and with Pike on drawn the inside will have supporters. MEN OF MUKINBUDIN is hard to catch but almost ready. Numbers: 8 – 7 – 5 – 9 Suggested Bet – LUCKY LINDA LULU EACHWAY Race 7 GESSATO drops from a C3 back into a C1, draws to sit right behind the heels of the leaders and was held up at crucial stages last start when trying to find a run. Gets his chance to notch win number two here. COCKY DODD never got warm last start but drops miles in grade on his recent assignments. Ran some absolute belters last preparation. Class horse in the race. QUINTARO has been consistent for the last few months and is ready to win one. HALAKAL thrived in the slop last start and has to be considered if it pours. Numbers: 7 – 1 – 9 – 4 Suggested Bet – GESSATO WIN Race 8 SMART FOX vs HEAVENLY AFFAIR should be a ripper. Both 3 year olds are Saturday class animals returning off strong trial victories and should have this race safely covered between them. Siding with SMART FOX who has the invaluable 1000m straight experience. HEAVENLY AFFAIR looks set for a breakout campaign and ran past a first-up winner in her trial. SOUNDCHECK draws the right side and finished off strongly last start in a high rating race. AY TEE EMM is a maiden with ability. Numbers: 2 – 5 – 6 – 4 Suggested Bet – SMART FOX WIN Race 9 Clearly the race of the day with multiple winning chances. DANNY GEORGE raced below his best last preparation and was an effortless winner down the straight on debut. Returns first-up without a trial and looks well placed. DELANEY has excellent straight 1000m ratings having run second to Captain Stirling in a race where they were low flying. SPIRIT AND FIRE bolted in at his WA debut and looks progressive. FINALLY FRENCH has never raced down the straight but form is undeniably strong. Numbers: 4 – 9 – 2 – 1 Suggested Bet – DANNY GEORGE EACHWAY Quad (Race 6 – 9) 5,7,8 1,7,9 2,5 1,2,3,4,6,9,10 Market Market
