RACE 3 No. 6 She’s So High

Victorian trained filly who although only lightly raced appears well up to this strong grade tomorrow. She couldn’t have been any more impressive winning at first up at Flemington clocking impressive sectionals to power away from her rivals in the straight. Although unplaced in a couple of Group One’s at her initial campaign she was far from disgraced and may not have handled the longer trip. Like the fact she stays at 1200m tomorrow in a race with plenty of early speed.

RACE 4 No. 1 Suncraze

The final of the Country Championship appears a race with plenty of early pace. That’s going to play right into the hands of this Tamworth trained galloper who can really clock some very slick sectionals at the end of his races. That was certainly the case in his heat at Scone when he looked to be facing an uphill battle until knuckling down late and going home right over the top of the leaders. Expecting similar tomorrow.

RACE 6 No. 13 Oohood

Tony McEvoy trained galloper who upstaged his more fancied stablemate Sunlight in the Golden Slipper charging home late to beat all bar the winner in a race not suited to those coming from off the pace. Her last 200m was the quickest recorded in the race suggesting the step up to 1400m tomorrow is made to order. With Zac Purton to do the steering she will prove extremely hard to hold out.
