Should get inside room to work with here. A repeat effort sees a repeat result. Race 3 No. 2 Granite County and No. 4 Traver’s Mania The 2 is coming out of the strong Northam derby. He’s not going that bad and can surprise here. Will park just off them and can work home for a frame finish. The 4 will equally be in the run on brigade. He can go 5.55 early as most this field do and while he has a trick or two, he can deliver good sections to hit the finish. Race 5 No. 1 Red Shell and No. 8 Impress Ledecky The 1 could hold up here off the inside. Shows speed and Northam runs were excellent in good class. The 8 is well drawn and continues that sustained run home. Clear up the back will see her track into this and be there late. Race 7 No. 7 Poppa Monno and No. 4 Blackwood Blue Good luck stopping the 7 here if he gets wound up through the back. No hope of stopping him when in full flight and looks a top 2 bird here. The 4 could give some cheek at odds and might find the arm. Will take some catching if he does. The 7 has our attention though at a ridiculously generous EW quote. Race 8 No. 5 Sand Patch She’s a talent this one. Massive effort last start when given no peace at all until late where she attacked the line to run 3rd. The box her only concern here but she can offset it and that will then make her very hard to stop. Great show. Race 11 No. 1 Aquila Sneaky show off the red now. Box manners are hurting her but gets the chance to muster up here along the fence and work to a forward spot. Is capable when she’s close and hard to catch on the arm. She’s a chance here. THE MEADOWS Race 2 No. 6 Fabs Max Potato Our old mate put in another barnstormer on the weekend and looks set to repeat here. Vacant inside to give him room, he can settle close and unleash that big back section home. Top 2 player. Race 6 No. 2 Apache Shout and No. 4 Targod Shirley The 2 will get right up there early. Weather he runs this out is 50/50 but he showed some good strength last start and ran 2nd the trip 3 starts back. Can go close. With Orca in the race, there is a huge chance of trouble. That will aid the 4 here who gets back and grinds home all day. She will pass a few here and any checks up front will only help. EW for her. Race 8 No. 2 Pierre Bale and No. 4 Majestic Jay The 2 is boxed to figure here. Excels off these inside draws and his form is strong. Can lead or come from back. EW all day. The 4 is a sneaky hope at odds. Has box speed and the distance will help him find the arm. Can surprise for a small spec. The 2 a great show though. Race 9 No. 7 Wizardry Things The best roughie of the day. Has form in strong races and while the box isn’t ideal, he can run home well and races quite ok here. At a silly quote he is worth an EW place heavy spec. Is far from out of this. Market Market
