Draw is good and only has to find a forward spot first turn to become a major threat. Great EW value here for a dog who is hard to hold out against these. Race 4 No. 8 Tsar Bell Gee this is a silly quote about a dog whose best obliterates these. Clearly he’s not at his best but he showed last week he is on the way back and a stack of improvement will come from that this time round. Perfectly drawn and can storm into this like the Tsar Bell of old. Place heavy go at the generous odds. Race 5 No. 7 Columbus Monelli While I would prefer him drawn in, he has shown he can handle a wide draw and has a good record off this box. Unlucky last week in a messy race when charging home for 2nd but the bird had flown. Clear run here and these can’t stop him. Just needs to secure it. Race 6 No. 4 Crypto Monelli Disappointed badly last time at a very short quote. Got back and never really came on at all. Went very fast time here a few starts back however and repeat will see him win this. Can land closer this time and that will be key to him winning. Race 8 No. 3 Tiger Town Can continue on his winning way again. Drawn to get the first turn position here and his last 2 have been strong. Both times he never got clear running so is clearly racing well and will prove hard to stop at EW odds. Race 9 No. 2 Clifton Matilda and No. 7 Left Right Now A couple of unknowns here for the staying trip. I reckon the 2 gets the trip here and she will be hard to hold out. Has been super over the middle trip and can take the next step up. The 7 might find the top here and while he doesn’t have any real sections in him, he is dour and one paced and that might be enough here. Top 2 chance at odds for him. Race 10 No. 5 Dandalup Jasper and No. 1 Close Contact The 5 is a ridiculous quote here. No luck last start when 2nd over this trip after a good 520 win. Box the only issue but is promising and can win this. Save on the red who continues to be thereabouts. Will punch up and stick on well. It’s the 5 who gets the bulk of the attention here though. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 7 Fabs Max Potato Has a big last section but needs to produce that here against these. Last chance to do something in this easier company. Can reel off strong run homes and while he doesn’t win many, he can place at least here and can score if he’s close up the back. Race 5 No. 4 Trending Zari and No. 6 Crackerjack Aret Both dogs coming out of the Geelong cup heats where they had no luck. The 4 goes well here and breaks 30 with clear running. Can figure. The 6 has a tricky box but he is promising and progressive. If he can offset the draw he can run into the placings. Race 7 No. 7 Money And Power and No. 8 Jigglypuff The 7 is a sneaky hope here. He will look to rush over and if he finds the top early, he can be hard to get past. Good record here and priced to play. The 8 finally gets to 600m now. Continues to charge home over 500 and will relish the extra distance. If she is close she will keep finding here. Race 9 No. 3 Cheeky Wink and No. 6 My Mate Tip The best roughie of the night in 3. Been racing some promising young dogs and she can find the line well. Gets a good map here and can stun these and hit the frame with any luck. The 6 will go well too. He loves it here and will get a march down the outside to the first turn. If he lands there or leads he can go sub-30 and hard to stop. Save on him EW as well. Silly price both dogs. Market Market
