The 3 sits inside the dog she couldn’t cross last week. Similar start and she can hold the arm and go all the way. The 5 is very promising and only needs a clear run into the back. Box tricky but no denying his talent. Race 6 No. 3 Opal Magic This fav very hard to beat but the 3 can hit the frame at least. Will looks for runs when the fav gets wide and charge along the fence late. Any luck at all will see her in the finish with her good record here. Race 7 No. 4 Moruga Scorpion This is more suitable for her and will smoke the pipe and wind up for the run home. Can be competitive against better dogs and if they give her a look she will represent as a place heavy play here. Race 8 No. 5 Forward Scout and No. 7 Big If The 5 can’t draw a box but and that’s why his form looks steady but he is better than that and can do something with a little early luck. Give him another go EW. The 7 was good last week when nabbed on the line. Will try and lead again and prove hard to catch if he does. Race 9 No. 4 My Dream Doesn’t run any real time but she knows how to be thereabouts and this is far from strong. Can settle forward and she sticks on very well for this grade. Top 2 chance with a good step here. Race 10 No. 3 West On Fern Desperately unlucky last start when making a winning run wide before being poleaxed at the top corner. Draw better here and can get a clearer run and very hard to stop now. If she leads that should be it. GEELONG Race 6 No. 5 Xenium Bale and No. 7 Golden Ratio A couple here at odds who can figure. The 5 goes super around here and will love the distance. Can lead or come from back and will be there with a clear run. The 7 is enigmatic but this is also her best trip. The staying trips in town a bridge too far for her and she will hit the line here late. Race 7 No. 5 Nicholson Bale He only has to offset the box early here and he’s a monster EW hope. Coming off a Shep cup heat, he does his best work here at Geelong and will charge through the gears up this straight and hit the frame with any luck at all. Place heavy but can win. Race 8 No. 8 Amron Dan and No. 6 Nelvin Bale Geelong cup for 2023. The 8 will find plenty on his heat run and first look here. Has a big middle and last section and will look ominous if he’s close at the top. The 6 is a sneaky place heavy saver. Promising type who might need a few more months but his heat run was good and can improve. Runs home well. Race 11 No. 6 Kai Bale He can take a bit to get going but has a blistering middle section and sustained run home over this trip. His hopes rely on sitting close turning then he can cut loose down the middle from there. Should hit the frame at good odds if he chimes in early enough. He can here. Market Market
