Resuming from a spell he’s 3 from 3 so far when fresh and I liked his recent Doomben trial in open company cruising down the straight on the heels of the placegetters. With even luck rates a big chance at well into each-way odds.

RACE 5 No. 1 Charlie Boy

Doomben 10,000 placegetter last year who finds a very suitable race at his third run back from a break. Just felt the inside gate worked against him last start when although box seating behind the leader he just wasn’t able to pick up with the 59.5kg when the sprint went on. Tomorrow he can park off the fence and get rolling early in the straight which is far more suitable.

RACE 7 No. 13 Gypsy Miss

Stuart Kendrick mare who really does look to be busting to win and tomorrow’s race appears very suitable. She’s covered additional ground at each of her last two starts boxing on gamely two back before only being beaten an eyelash here two weeks ago. She draws a perfect gate tomorrow, meets her last start victor (Pleased) better at the weights and Damian Browne jumps on. Plenty of ticks!
