Chris Nelson’s Rosehill Best Bets Posted on June 3, 2022June 3, 2022 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 1 No.2 Backrower Liked the look of this one’s debut victory at Newcastle coming from back in the field closing down the outside to arrive in time. He did that on a heavy surface which will be exactly what he again faces on Saturday. The additional 100m is definitely in his favour and if he’s to earn a start in next week’s Group 1 J J Atkins he’ll be needing to go very close here. RACE 8 No.8 Per Inaway Ex Kiwi galloper now with the Kris Lees yard making her Australian debut. She’s yet to miss a placing in 4 starts and won in impressive fashion first up last prep at New Plymouth. She trialled well at Scone recently and although yet to see heavy ground both her career wins to date have been on soft tracks. RACE 9 No.5 Sibaaq Annabel Neasham trained import who was well supported at his Australian debut on the Gold Coast early last month. Beaten only by the winner at his first go on a heavy track he will take good improvement from the outing and based on his overseas form will appreciate the slight step up in trip. Every chance he can go one better this time around. Quaddie 10, 6, 12, 3 8, 9, 7, 5 5, 11, 14 12, 1, 5, 8 Market Market
