Chris Nelson’s Doomben Best Bets Posted on January 21, 2021January 21, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 2 No.3 Prometheus Toowoomba trained galloper who put in an eye catching effort here two back in the Listed Lough Neagh flashing home late behind the in-form Soxagon. Unfortunately he blew the start at the Gold Coast a fortnight ago and never got into the race. Put the pen through that run and go on the previous and his good form last prep. The 1600m is also a big plus! RACE 4 No.1 Garibaldi Really starting to show what he’s made of winning his last couple. The latest was dominant which is fair enough as he was well placed in the race, his win two back was the stronger formline holding on late to beat the smart Platinum Euros who has since franked that form with a super impressive win coming from a clear last running away from his rivals. Should be winning. RACE 5 No.3 Batangas Entry From the flying Kelly Schweida stable & looks well placed tomorrow. On face value his form doesn’t read too well with a 10th and 14th beside his name however the races he contested were Listed and Group 3 where things didn’t go his way on either occasion suggesting he should have finished closer. Tomorrow from an ideal gate down in grade he gets his chance to win again. Quaddie 2, 6, 5 4, 2, 8, 3 9, 10, 8 11, 4, 7, 3 Market Market
