Chris Nelson’s Randwick Best Bets Posted on January 21, 2021January 21, 2021 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 4 No.9 The Face Lightly raced Rubick gelding who looks all set to break through at his third run back this time in. Placed both outings to date this campaign the latest being in the Listed Gosford Guineas when beating all bar the smart Forbidden Love. He comes up with a favourable gate for the first time this prep which should gain him the run of the race should he not lead. RACE 5 No.5 Rule Of Law Regular readers of this column would well know I love a resuming team Snowden galloper coming off a barrier trial win and we have one here! Only lightly raced he’s won 2 of his 3 starts with a win over the very smart Exoboom at start number two, that horse is flying of late. Confident he’ll be returning a winner. RACE 6 No.4 Sacramento Out and out staying type who found plenty second up staying at 1800m when outgunning New Arrangement here a fortnight back. They meet again in this race with Sacramento faring better at the weights, he’ll also be better suited stepping up to the 2000m trip. Shouldn’t have any trouble getting across early and can control affairs from the front. Best Value Race 2 No.9 Water Dove Quaddie 2, 3, 4, 10 8, 9 3, 9, 12 5, 9 Market Market
