Bunbury 17 March – Thoroughbreds Preview Posted on March 15, 2016March 16, 2016 | Posted by Greg Hooper Greg Hooper’s Preview RACE 2 NO. 1 HAKUNA MATATA HAKUNA MATATA gets his chance for his breakthrough maiden win in this very weak race. He put the writing on the wall at Pinjarra with a big second to the talented Cappo D’oro. He should sit right on the speed and outstay his rivals. RACE 7 NO. 1 BEG TO DIFFER BEG TO DIFFER should appreciate the rise to 2200m. He had no luck two starts back at Pinjarra and then last start got too far back in a slow run race. From a better draw he should settle closer to the speed and be hard to out. RACE 8 NO. 13 TONTO The majority of the runners for this year’s Bunbury Cup come through the AHA Cup which was run ten days back over 2019m at this circuit. TONTO endured a very tough in transit in that event sitting wide throughout. He did a good job to fight on and be beaten less than two lengths. He has drawn to get a much softer run and gets his chance for a feature race win. (1) TOWER OF LONHRO should derive plenty of benefit from his terrific fresh run in the AHA Cup. He has a touch of class on his side. (3) DUBAI ESCAPADE was a winner of the Tattersalls Cup back in November off a similar let-up. (14) ULTIMATE SUCCESS is a blow out hope at odds. He was too bad too be true in the Esperance Cup. His prior form where he lumped enormous weights was excellent. Suggested Bet – Tonto 1 win / 2 places QUADDIE RACE 6 – 4, 5, 6, 8 RACE 7 – 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 12 RACE 8 – 1, 2, 3, 13, 14 RACE 9 – 1, 5, 8 Bet Now
