Gloucester Park 11 March – Harness Preview Posted on March 11, 2016 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Tips Race 1: HI- TEMP SERVICES MS PACE DENNY CRANE (9) has won five of his starts this campaign and has been far too good at his last two runs at Northam and Narrogin. He has to overcome the widest draw here but has class on his side and is the one to beat. AVALON BROMAC (5) has been runner-up at his last two starts in good time and should be thereabouts again. THREE KINGS (4) was a good last start 3rd and must be considered, while TASMANIAN BROMAC (2) has been very disappointing but could improve from this draw. Tips: 9 5 4 2 Suggested Bet: DENNY CRANE (9) to win. Race 2: STEELO’S BISTRO AT GLOUCESTER PARK MARES MS PACE BONNY UNDER FIRE (1) has been placed behind the likes of Major Reality and Tricky Styx recently and chased home ROBYNS CC (7) last start. The barriers are reversed from that occasion and she can break through tonight. GIULIANA RANCIC (5) has improved recently and must be respected on her country form. ROBYNS CC (7) was a comfortable all the way winner last week but won’t have the same trip here. C C CHEVRON (10) is drawn to get a cosy run and can be in the placings. Tips: 1 7 5 10 Suggested Bet: BONNY UNDER FIRE (1) to win. Race 3: TABTOUCH MS PACE THE PARADE (6) resumed from a break with a dominant win in quick time before facing the breeze in the Empress Stakes and only finishing 9 metres from the winner. She has the barrier advantage over her main rival and is clearly the one to beat. CHANGE STRIDE (7) is racing extremely well and was a strong 2nd to Thats Rite here last week and looks the danger. CYCLONE MITCH (1) is drawn to show significant improvement, while TUAPEKA KAHU (2) is well down on his best but is capable on his day. Tips: 6 7 1 2 Suggested Bet: THE PARADE (6) to win. Race 4: COWDEN INSURANCE BROKERS HANDICAP SS PACE BETTOR OFFER (6) resumed from a 14 month absence with a strong 2nd off a 30m handicap before working his way to the front for a comfortable win. He goes back to the 10m line but has class on his side. FLYALONG FALCON (5) is a sit-sprint conveyance who upset Glenferrie Rustler two starts back and is always dangerous. EMINENCE GRISE (2) handed up the lead last start and looked to be bolting when blocked for a run. HUGH VICTOR (9) can be right in the finish if he gets the right cart into the race. Tips: 6 5 2 9 Suggested Bet: BETTOR OFFER (6) to win. Race 5: WESTSIDE AUTO WHOLESALERS WESTBRED QUALIFYING HEAT 2 MS PACE MYNAMESKENNY (7) has won five of his last seven starts and looks set to race his way through the classes. He is versatile and is clearly the one to beat. SHOWSTOPPER (1) led and ran 2nd to MYNAMESKENNY (7) a few starts back and looks the main danger from the pole. PERSISTENT THREAT (8) hasn’t missed a place in his nine runs this campaign and was a good last start winner. THE REAL NADAL (10) is drawn to get a soft run on the pegs and can be in the money. Tips: 7 1 8 10 Suggested Bet: MYNAMESKENNY (7) to win. Race 6: GLOUCESTER PARK – ENTERTAINMENT WITH HORSEPOWER MS PACE THAT’S RITE (11) has won five of his eight starts this campaign in scintillating times. He looks to have a class edge on his rivals with the only concern being that he has led in all five of his wins and has been beaten when unable to find the top. ALWAYS ARJAY (7) is racing extremely well and his last start 3rd to Atlastalone in 1.55.5 was full of merit. THE BLACK LORD (3) will start from the pole if the emergencies come out and should lead for a long way. BACK ON BOARD (4) should get a nice run and can be in the money. Tips: 11 7 3 4 Suggested Bet: THAT’S RITE (11) to win. Race 7: CADUCEUS CLUB CLASSIC MS PACE CANT REFUSE (7) ran 4th in the Victoria Derby before a NSW campaign saw him finish a gallant 2nd to Our Waikiki Beach in the NSW Derby. The form lines from those races are very strong and he will be extremely hard to beat if he races up to that standard. EL HOMBRE (1) has been impressive in winning his last two and will run a big race if he settles close to the lead. NEW WORLD ORDER (6) is the least experienced runner but has plenty of upside. NATHANS COURAGE (9) has dazzling gate speed and would be hard to run down in front but hasn’t shown versatility at this stage of his career. Tips: 7 1 6 9 Suggested Bet: CANT REFUSE (7) to win. Race 8: RAY DUFFY MEMORIAL MS PACE SHARDONS ROCKET (7) was a great 2nd to Fernleigh Rebel on Friday night before working his way to the front and rating 1.55.9 at Pinjarra on Monday. He will work forward to the breeze comfortably and will be hard to beat again. GLENLOCHAR (6) led at his first run for three months and looked the winner before knocking up late and finishing 3rd. He should be fitter for that run and should give a great sight. EL MACHINE (9) and LISHARRY (3) drop in class from the Pinjarra Cup and both are capable of winning with the right run in transit. Tips: 7 6 9 3 Suggested Bet: SHARDONS ROCKET (7) to win. Race 9: GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND TROTTERS DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP ARMED FORCE (3) has won two of his three starts since returning from a year layoff. The defeat came when he did things wrong and he will be extremely hard to beat if he trots throughout tonight. THE TRUTH (1) has won his last two starts and will be thereabouts again from this draw. ENJOY A COLDIE (10) has finished 2nd behind ARMED FORCE (3) and THE TRUTH (1) at his two starts back from a spell and should make his presence felt again. HOT HOLIDAY (11) is rarely far away and can overcome the 30m back mark. Tips: 3 1 10 11 Suggested Bet: ARMED FORCE (3) to win. Race 10: INTERNATIONAL ANIMAL HEALTH PRODUCTS THE CLARKE QUALIFYING HEAT KIMBA BAY (3) has been racing in great form at Albany, winning five of his last seven including a win over Change Stride in the Harvey Cup at his last start. He should shoot straight to the front here and is clearly the one to beat. SHIRLZ SENSATION (4) is a richly talented pacer who showed his best last start when breezing and winning in quick time. This is a rise in class and he is likely to be in the breeze but looks the main danger. COURAGE TELLS (6) and DASHING CHRISTIAN (7) are drawn poorly but are the other class runners. Tips: 3 4 6 7 Suggested Bet: KIMBA BAY (3) to win. Bet Now
