Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on July 20, 2022July 20, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 3 Hurricane Taylor and No. 1 Samba Monelli Time for the 3 to stand up and put these to the sword. After a string of placings behind quality opposition, he needs to get it done here. Superb early toe but has that flat spot through the middle, he can do that and get away with it here. Looks the one. The 1 is boxed perfectly again and he was super last start. Will step and be right on the action throughout. Save there. Race 6 No. 6 We Can Too and No. 8 Little Miss Ava The 6 ran a boomer last time in the Westchase final. Arguably should have won after copping first turn checks trying to lead. Beaten by a weapon, he wasn’t disgraced. Goes close here with the vacant inside. The 8 will go well too. She has raced quality most of her career and will get her chance here. Can handle the box. Race 7 No. 4 Winnie Woo Woo and No. 2 Jump Into Action She is a notoriously wide runner the 4 but her early speed compensates for that and she will go fast for the arm here. Hard to catch in this company. The 2 is better known over longer but he can sprint and is the surprise package here. Look for him late. Race 9 No. 5 Sunset Blaze Boom youngster who goes much much faster than his win suggests last week. Bombed the start but showed dazzling acceleration to take over before the first turn and race home for a strong win. Can burn the clock to the ground when he’s on a fast deck and a clear run will see him win here. Race 10 No. 4 Bad Desire and No. 1 Fundamentalist They meet again and this time they really should both hit the podium. The 4 was his usual unlucky self last week. Slow early costing him again but small files helps here big time. The 1 will punch up and will not let anything pass her. She can make a fast back straight run and sustain to the line. Race 11 No. 8 Ash The Flash and No. 6 Roll With It The 8 could only better boxed if it was outside the fence. Wide runner who wants nothing more than to get outside dogs. Much better when she does and can muster to the arm here. The 6 will get in there again. He constantly surprises with good efforts against better dogs and while he gets wide too, can stick on late. Beaten by a potential superstar last time so forget that. Goes better here. Race 12 No. 8 Bumper Blaster If ever a race was put on for a dog it’s this one. Five dog field makes you wonder how they hold him out with that sweeping run home of his. Will start it up the back and while some of these can run time when they are at their best, they would need to if they are to hold him out. THE MEADOWS Race 11 No. 2 Money And Power Sneaky play here for an underrated dog. Placed both starts track and trip, he has been racing against good company and will go well against this mid week field. Sticks on and only has to replicate his run behind Commission to win here. GAWLER Race 4 No. 7 Plausible Dream Will be any old price but has a great record here and with all the early pace drawn in, he can sweep up into a forward spot if he steps and will run a huge race. Won 2 and placed the only other start he had here track and trip. EW player. Race 7 No. 7 Hey Grace Another good hope drawn wide here. Has a tremendous record at this track and if she nails the start, she will zoom around and be prominent in a race that lacks depth. Hard to beat here. Race 8 No. 5 Shantui’s Ember Somewhat stunned at the price of this dog. Has shown she can spear out and very hard to catch when she finds the arm. The double figures demand a play here and she has a great strike rate track and trip. Silly price if she leads. BALLARAT Race 5 No. 6 Elusive Fly and No. 3 Thunder Dash The 6 is looking for this trip and will be suited to the 545m. Has been running in well at The Meadows and won well there last start. Has won here in the past. The 3 will be a huge price but don’t dismiss him. His form may not suggest it but he can get into this with a clear run and is another who will appreciate the trip. Race 6 No. 4 Fabriola Duran and No. 5 Aston Marvel The 4 will go fast here and she’s hard to catch when she leads. Has a good record here and runs time. The 5 is a big talent and while he can take a little bit to wind up, can unleash some unstoppable sections when he does. Look for him to descend here. Race 8 No. 4 Zipping Crusader Perfect trip for this bloke. Has gone well over 600 and has also sprinted well behind Courteous Reiko recently. Will relish the long back straight and he will be strong late even though he can get up there early. Top 2 player here. Market Market
