Race 1

MY WHISPER may need some luck from the draw but she is a quality mare and has jumped out well to resume. ILLATION is the query runner, he was given a solid hit out winning a recent jumpout and has obvious upside. CROSSHAVEN has been freshened and jumped out nicely between runs. NONAME LANE will strip fitter for a solid first up run and is likely to roll forward and make his own luck.

Race 2

TREPORTI ran well at Murray Bridge first up, he has a solid second up record and the step up to 1300m should be ok. KING COUVER created a good impression in his first preparation and sprinted clear to win a recent jumpout impressively. ELITE ICON comes through the same form line as Treporti and looks to control the speed. ICE PICK NICK got the right run last time but is fit and racing well.

Race 3

Plenty of unknowns, thought ELPHINSTONE and JAKIVY were the pick of the first starters. CROATION BELLE had excuses on the Gold Coast and her previous two wins were most professional, she’s jumped out well since arriving back in Victoria. SHESALLSHEANINGANS ran well to earn black type in Adelaide and is a winner here. MAGIC MADONNA hit the line strongly on debut. PICKY comes through some strong form lines and looked sharp in a recent jumpout. BEAUNIFIED was given a solid hit out in a recent jumpout and appeared to respond well.

Race 4

SING FOR PEACE is a promising stayer, he looks capable of coping with the rise in grade and should relish 2400m on a spacious track. WAHINE TOA endured a tough run last time, she’s been freshened and a gap between runs is no real concern with the stable. CABOCHE gets back to Victoria and has been given a solid grounding to get back to 2400m. SOUS LES NUAGES gets a weight turn around on MR FRENCH and both have some claims.

Race 5

LIFE LESSONS covered ground and battled on bravely first up and is sure to strip fitter. BELLE SAVOIR has upside, she’s jumped out well to resume at a suitable trip. FOXY FRIDA is a classy mare, she generally runs well first up and has jumped out in good style. BELLE PLAISIR has also jumped out well without her race day blinkers.

Race 6

NORTHERN BARRAGE has shown staying promise, he’s jumped out nicely between runs and should relish the rise in trip. QUEEN AIR had the right run last start, she has a touch of class but takes on the boys and has to concede 6kg to the rest of the field. PROMISES KEPT was very green breaking his maiden at his latest run but wasn’t disgraced behind Pericles at his previous start. HIGHLAND HILL had no luck in an easier race first up and has shown staying talent.

IS IT ME had no luck from the inside drawn first up, he may be looking for further but draws to get clear air and looks promising. MARBLE ARCH raced well through the Future Stars series to take out the final, she’s deep into her preparation but gives the indication she’ll measure up to stakes company. RUNNING BY was no match for Benedetta first up but she was briefly held up and will appreciate 1400m. KINGS CONSORT will need some luck from the inside draw but should be hitting the line strongly. ELKINGTON ROAD, MERIDIUS and QUANG TRI are in the mix.

MUNHAMEK can’t be improving at this stage of the campaign but id racing in great form. He stays down in the weights and should get a similar race shape to his last start victory. QUALITY TIME chased well behind Munhamek first up and is sure to strip fitter. JUST FOLK would appreciate any rain, he was solid behind the in-form Scallopini first up and is suited stepping up to 1600m. HERE TO SHOCK should get a good run from a low draw to get every chance to run 1600m in this company.

MYNUMEROUNO chased well behind the speedy Midwest first up and looks suited stepping up to 1100m. BOUYANTSEA has jumped out well for the new stable and his brings some solid NZ form. SACRED PALACE draws for a soft run and will be strong late. WOLFLANDS has jumped out well to resume and is s a previous first up winner. SESSIONS ROAD is fit and racing well.
