Trent Cooper’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on November 12, 2020 | Posted by Trent Cooper Race 1 COPY N PACE (4) was well-fancied against a similar field but was forced to breeze when a close up 4th to WARRIORS LEGACY (11). He is the best drawn of the main chances tonight and looks hard to beat. THE IDEAL TOUCH (8) was the run of the race when 2nd in that event and has the strength to overcome the wide draw. MASTER PUBLISHER (6) disappointed when 6th in that race but strips fitter and can improve. WARRIORS LEGACY (11) caused the upset when defeating the Hall trio and must be considered again. Tips: 4 8 6 11 Suggested Bet: COPY N PACE (4) to win. Race 2 THE KRAKEN (1) faced the breeze when a strong 1.55.6 winner here last week. He goes up in distance tonight but looks the leader and will take plenty of catching. EUPHORIC MOMENT (2) is racing consistently and should enjoy a nice run from the barrier. TRIROYALE BRIGADE (6) led but was no match for the classy To Fast To Serious here last week and will appreciate not facing that pacer tonight. HEADLINE ACT (4) was a beaten favourite in the wet on Monday but her previous form was very good and she can play a part. Tips: 1 2 6 4 Suggested Bet: THE KRAKEN (1) to win. Race 3 CHIAROSCURO (1) has only been placed once in his last five starts but looks the leader here and will appreciate a significant drop in class. AS HAPPY AS LARRY (10) is drawn to get a lovely run and can be dangerous if he sees daylight at the right time. EL JACKO (2) is always capable if he gets the right trip and is drawn to play a part. ELOQUENT MACH (5) has finished just behind the placegetters recently and is capable of winning a race of this nature with some luck in running. Tips: 1 10 2 5 Suggested: CHIAROSCURO (1) to win. Race 4 CHICAGO BULL (3) has now won ten of his last 11 starts, including a last start victory over SHOCKWAVE (3) when he sizzled home in 26.6. He is drawn inside that rival again and is clearly the one to beat. SHOCKWAVE (5) has chased home the little champ at his last three starts and looks likely to fill the quinella position again. CONVERT DENARIO (1) has led throughout to win two of his last three starts against easier company and is perfectly drawn. PERFECT MAJOR (4) has won all four starts in WA and is ready for the rise in class. Tips: 3 5 1 4 Suggested Bet: CHICAGO BULL (3) to win. Race 5 GOTTA GO GABBANA (1) trialled nicely before her return and ran a solid 4th from the breeze here last week. She is drawn significantly better tonight and will be the one to beat if she can hold up at the start. OUR ALFIE ROMEO (2) bounced to the front when a convincing winner of that event and will be hard to catch if she crosses at the start again. BALCATHERINE (6) was an ultra-impressive all-the-way winner at her return but is drawn poorly. WAINUI CREEK (5) displayed her true ability last week and must be respected. Tips: 1 2 6 5 Suggested Bet: GOTTA GO GABBANA (1) to win. Race 6 ONE FOR DAVE ANDME (2) defeated To Fast To Serious at his last run before a spell and was held up for a run at his return. He is drawn to press for an all-the-way victory tonight and looks the one to beat. ROMAN AVIATOR (5) hasn’t had a lot of luck in his last three starts and can improve here. SOKYS BIGBULLET (7) was as brave 2nd at his last start and can play a part with the right trip. GRAN CHICO (8) ran on well to finish 5th at his first start back from a spell and should be charging home. Tips: 2 5 7 8 Suggested Bet: ONE FOR DAVE ANDME (2) to win. Race 7 THEREUGO (6) has used his blistering gatespeed to lead at his last two starts but has just found one better on both occasions. He looks likely to find the top again and will give a great sight. SERGEANT OATS (12) ran on strongly to finish 2nd to Wainui Creek here last week and will be charging home again. ANGEL IN WHITE (1) ran a solid but distant 2nd to the talented Perfect Major here last week and is drawn to get a lovely run in transit. JACK WILLIAM (10) isn’t suited from this draw but is racing consistently. Tips: 6 12 1 10 Suggested Bet: SERGEANT OATS (12) each way. Race 8 BABYFACE ADDA (1) ran on well to finish 3rd to Headline Act in solid time at his last start. He looks a good chance to hold up from the pole and will be hard to catch in that role. THE BLACK CARDINAL (2) enjoyed a nice run and sprinted strongly to win here on Tuesday and looks a major player from his nice draw. QTOWN RIP ROARING (10) performs at his best when receiving a soft run on the pegs and should get that scenario here. MAJOR STARE (3) was only fair at his first run back from a two-year absence but could improve sharply. Tips: 1 2 10 3 Suggested Bet: BABYFACE ADDA (1) to win. Race 9 IDEAL INVESTMENT (1) attempted to lead throughout and was run down on the line when 2nd to The Black Cardinal on Tuesday. He will appreciate the shorter trip tonight and looks the one to beat. BAD ROUND (2) has finished near the rear at his three starts this time in but can improve from this draw. WHERE YA BIN (6) was a solid 3rd in a stand after facing the breeze at his last start and can play a part. MAXIMUM DEMAND (10) is drawn to get a lovely run and can be placed. Tips: 1 2 6 10 Suggested Bet: IDEAL INVESTMENT (1) to win. Race 10 AMERICAN ARMA (7) has created a big impression with victories in her two race starts, the latest a dominant victory after working in the early stages. She is drawn outside her main rival but has the edge in race fitness and should prove hard to beat. ALWAYS AN ANGEL (6) won her last five starts before a spell and is the obvious danger. SUGAR STREET (8) has only won one of his nine starts but shows plenty of ability and is the only colt in the field. BETTOR BEACH BELLE (5) is extremely consistent and shouldn’t be far away. Tips: 7 6 8 5 Suggested Bet: AMERICAN ARMA (7) to win. Market Market
