The Scout: NBA Finals Game 2 Posted on June 5, 2022June 5, 2022 | Posted by The Scout Boston Celtics @ Golden State Warriors Boston claimed first blood in the NBA Finals after Golden State blew a 12 point fourth quarter lead in Game 1, going down 120-108 following a late Celtics blitz. It was the Warriors first home loss of the postseason and a loss that heaps the pressure on them here in Game 2. The Celtics never gave up in Game 1. They were outplayed for most of the game but produced a stunning fourth quarter, outscoring the Warriors 40-16. Jayson Tatum took on the role of playmaker, racking up 13 assists, while Al Horford was red-hot from three, connecting on six of his eight attempts from beyond the arc. Without overreacting, this game is close to a must-win for Golden State. Steve Kerr and the Warriors don’t necessarily need to make any major adjustments as they had the game in their control before Boston’s explosion in the fourth quarter. Boston put in a monumental three-point shooting performance in Game 1, hitting nine of their 12 three point attempts in the fourth quarter. Can that be repeated? For one, Al Horford won’t get the same freedom in Game 2, and I think Golden State make the necessary adjustments and level the series. Suggested Bet: Golden State -4.5 (Line) @ $1.93* Suggested Bet: Stephen Curry Over 4.5 Made Threes @ $2.11* *Odds correct as at 9am, 5th June 2022. Market Market
