Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips

CANNINGTON

Race 6 No. 2 Bazinga Boy and No. 8 Jaxon’s Journey

Last chance for both these boys. The 2 has the capability of stepping quickly and putting these to the sword. His box manners have been absent his last few but he generally fires out and that would see him go all the way against these. The 8 is in a similar situation but he has the box and can spear around here and look threatening. Both dogs can run time and hard to beat.

Race 7 No. 4 Kingsbrae Huxley

Squeezed out early in a tough race last start and must be forgiven. A slew of wide runners in that made it difficult to recover. Gets his chance here to step and muster up and if he can find a leading spot first turn, he will go on and win. Is much better than his form shows.

Race 8 No. 9 Charos Reward

Gets the start off box 9 and can win. 16 time winner who steps fast, has a quick back straight and won’t be caught if she finds the top at any stage. Best bet at a great EW price.

Race 10 No. 2 One Chance

Big show here off a good draw. Was brilliant 3 starts back breaking 16 here and super last start behind Curium when having no luck. Can spear out and muster hard and with the 1 being risky, can find the top here. That will be all over if he does.

SANDOWN PARK

Race 9 No. 7 Weblec Jet

Unbelievable odds about a dog who should be much much shorter in my opinion. Class runner who has raced superior dogs to these most of his career. Would have to have things go seriously wrong to be beaten here. Should justify the quote.

MURRAY BRIDGE

Race 8 No. 8 Woodside Zulu

He’s got his box and that’s critical in this race. This first turn is tricky when dogs hit it together and this bloke will be out where he wants to be mustering into this. Runs fast time and has an electric middle section that he can sustain. Shouldn’t miss a place.
