The Scout: EPL Week 34 Posted on April 30, 2021April 30, 2021 | Posted by The Scout Southampton vs Leicester City Southampton (15th) have had a hugely disappointing campaign and will be keen to put this season behind them. For Leicester (3rd), they will have the goal of finishing as the best team in the Premier League behind Manchester City. The Foxes have all but locked up a top four finish and a berth in the Champions League next season. They’ve won their last two games are the decision to inject Kelechi Iheanacho into the starting XI alongside Jamie Vardy has proven a masterstroke. Iheanacho is in devastating form, scoring nine goals in his last seven games. Southampton have only managed two wins in their last 15 Premier League fixtures and I don’t see them adding to that tally here. Suggested Bet: Leicester City (Match Result) @ $1.87* Crystal Palace vs Manchester City Crystal Palace (13th) have lost two matches in a row while Manchester City (1st) have won four of their last five and are coming off a gutsy 2-1 win over PSG midweek in the Champions League. Pep Guardiola’s squad will come into this match full of confidence off the back of their comeback win away to PSG, the result highlighting just how deep their squad is, even amongst the other giants of European football. Riyad Mahrez scored an incredible free kick goal against PSG and that should see him feature heavily in this fixture. He has at times been a depth player for City (which is crazy to think given his talent) and I think his strong from can continue against a leaky Crystal Palace defense. Suggested Bet: Riyad Mahrez Anytime Goalscorer @ $2.50* Everton vs Aston Villa Everton (8th) have come away with one win and three draws from the past month, while Aston Villa (11th) have been much the same with just one win from their last five games. Both of these sides look to have lost the energy they each showed earlier in the season. Both are struggling for consistency and Villa have very little to play for from a table perspective. Everton on the other hand can still be within range of Champions League qualification with an outright win. Aston Villa’s last four games have seen a massive 14 goals scored and with Everton’s potent attack (and motivation hopefully), I think we’ll be seeing three or more goals in this game. Suggested Bet: Both Teams To Score + Over 2.5 Goals @ $2.10* *Odds correct as at 12pm, 30th April 2021. Market Market
