RACE 2 No. 10 Muddy Rope

Perfect draw tomorrow for this Chris Anderson trained 3yo. Well backed first up at Ipswich things just didn’t pan out his way being blocked for a run at the top of the straight, he took time to balance up again before closing the race off nicely. Twice a winner at his initial campaign he’ll be suited by the step up in distance and will prove hard to beat.

RACE 3 No. 7 Banda Spice

Looks an ideal race for this Stuart Kendrick trained mare who has recorded 5 of her 7 wins here on her home circuit. Not far away at all 4 starts this campaign in much stronger affairs she finds herself in a restricted race carrying no more weight. From the perfect draw I’d expect to see her park in the first few and from there she’ll prove extremely hard to beat.

Yes, a long time between drinks for this ex Kiwi stayer who hasn’t won for over 600 days however he really caught the eye flashing to the line here a fortnight back in the 2400m Caloundra Cup. Up to 2 miles tomorrow won’t cause any problems as he was close up in the corresponding race last year. No shortage of southern challengers however he’s clearly best of the local hopes.
