Draws box 1 where he’s yet to taste defeat 2/2, the favourite in box 6 is first up from an injury enforced lay off and has to contend with the speedy Sassy Snickers in box 5, looks a good map for Maddox to rail up early and hold the 5 and 6 out, which is going to  take him a long way to victory.

Race 9 No. 3 Finny Fox

Strung two wins together here two and three runs back, took advantage of the good draws on both of them occasions, then didn’t get the best of luck when drawing out wide last start. Moves back to an inside draw tonight and in a race that lacks genuine early speed, he can go coast to coast here.

Race 11 No. 3 West On Ariel 

Looks like she’s found the perfect race here, can camp on the 1 dog who should lead but will struggle to run out the 381 metre journey, so Ariel can be there to pounce and grab it mid to late stages of the race.
