INDRIEL is on the quick backup and drops back to her preferred 1100m. If she can lead, she’s a chance. ANOTHER DEMON drops back in grade after a deserved crack in open company. Numbers: 6 – 4 – 8 – 3 Suggested Bet – PALMA MERENTI EACHWAY Race 4 ZANDARALL appears to be the horse with the most upside in this race. Was fair at his first start for new Goldfields connections and it looks like the further he goes the more he will come into his own. RARE SELECTION was given every possible chance by Lucy Warwick last time out but fell victim to the flying Oorah. BJORN TO LOVE got the better of Inject The Venom who has since ran an admirable race in town. Respect that form. REIDY hit the line strongly at the mile so rise to 1760m looks a positive. She didn’t look likely when entering the straight at her most recent run but sprouted wings and got over the top of her rivals quite effortlessly. A win here books her a spot in the features over the Race Round. ASTRONOMITE was only narrowly beaten in his only start in Kalgoorlie in the Coolgardie Cup. Going better than it reads. ROJO CALOR returns to the Goldfields where he had plenty of success earlier in the season. THIDWICK THE MOOSE bounced back last start when well found. Has had success lumping big weights in the past and from the inside gate should stalk the leader and prove too good again. BONNY BE GOOD is a big watch after a failed trip to Broome. It may pay to put a line through those runs and her best grass form is outstanding. PRESENTATIE trialed very well and is astutely placed first-up for new connections. LITTLE HERCULES is eligible for easier assignments but form behind Pyms Royale and Turbo Power is hot. Bolted in that day and has since ran a credible 2nd to the promising Double Bubble. Jason Whiting makes a rare appearance to the region to get her home. WOCKNWOLL was knocked around like Andrew Gaff in the fourth quarter of the Derby last start. Forgive that effort (hers, not his). PASTRY will burn to the front with her light weight.
