Chris’ Scone Best Bets Posted on May 12, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 1 No. 6 Interlocuter Godolphin trained ex French galloper who’s only had the two Australian starts for an extremely unlucky 2nd at Newcastle before toweling his rivals up big time at Wyong winning untouched by over 7 lengths! There’s no stars in this race tomorrow apart from possibly him, no reason he won’t give them a similar type beating. SuperPick - Race 1 No. 6 Interlocuter - Money Back – Run 2nd RACE 5 No. 2 Calanda Team Snowden trained galloper who had no luck whatsoever in the Hawkesbury Guineas being blocked and shuffled back in the straight going to the line untested by jockey Hugh Bowman. He was well fancied in the race as his only other 5 starts had resulted in 3 wins and 2 placings. Bowman stays on tomorrow and the wide gate will suit as he can be saved up for the last run at them in the straight. Can atone. RACE 6 No. 7 Sir Bacchus Chris Waller trained galloper who is second up tomorrow after facing an unsuitable Heavy track when resuming at Randwick last month. He’s twice a second up winner from the three attempts and will appreciate the firmer surface tomorrow. Look for him to be steaming through between runners late.
