Race 1

CRUNCHNSIP (8) returns from a back row draw and can watch things unfold, looks versatile and suited in this and will be hard to hold out. SWEET WISH (5) was a solid return and looks to have ability, is picking them off nicely and this will be a good test against a deeper grade. PERFECT MIKI (4) was solid in her recent run, she can mix her form but has got the ability, respect in this. MA PETITE DAME (6) will be driven quietly and run home strongly. HIGHVIEW ROZI (2) and COCOBOLO (7) top 4 chances.

Suggested Bet: CRUNCHNSIP (8) to win.

Race 2

SOUTH SIDE STORY (5) was solid in his comeback run on a metro grade front, looks to work forward and is a big chance to run to the lead and will likely win from that position. SUN PUBLISHER (6) is versatile in this grade and should run a bold race, likely to be in the breeze. ALFA JESS (3) will be looking to lead early and may take some cover and be a novelty chance with ALTA KING (7) who can improve moving back to a middle distance and ULTIMATE ZIPPER (9) is a novelty chance but needs some luck.

Suggested Bet: SOUTH SIDE STORY/SUN PUBLISHER to exacta.

Race 3

HONOUR THE EAGLE (3) has good early speed and should bounce on the lead and appears very hard to run down, the mile suits and she ticks a lot of boxes in this. LOCAL RESIDENT (6) appears the testing material; he faces a difficult draw and map in this but has the class to shake this to the core. DEE JAYS BIG BOY (7) is capable, likely to roll forward and do some work and likes the shorter trips. HUGHEY (4) is consistent and is always a must for the novelties with GAMETIME (5), REDDY TO FLY (9) and HARRYS A ROCKSTAR (10).

Suggested Bet: HONOUR THE EAGLE (3) to win.

Race 4

FOLLOW ROCKNROLL (5) is versatile and can charge forward in this and think he is a big chance to cross and be the one to beat, looks a good race for him. DEL BOCAVISTA BAY (7) will head forward and race on speed, he is knocking on the door and looks hard to hold out. YOU FLY WITH ME (3) could cross early and then look for cover elevating his novelty chances as TAXI IT IS (1) is a moderate beginner but a novelty chance in this. TURBO JAY (12) will be running on well, he was better last time out. MANHATTAN MOON (11), SLIPALONG SAINT (9) and MARTYR (8) all novelty chances.

Suggested Bet: FOLLOW ROCKNROLL (5) to win.

Race 5

Open race. DOURADO (9) should get a good run through from the back line in a race where there looks to be some pressure over the longer distance, appears a strong chance in this. SWEET COCO (6) is the class, but she is tricky, might be better suited to the bigger track and has an abundance of high speed. HILLVIEW BONDI (7) is suited at the longer trip; he will be driven like a truck and seems to respond well to it. BEAT THE BANK (1) ideally drawn and is a novelty chance with ART IDEAL (2) who could lead early but is preferred at a shorter trip. WHOS THE DAD (4) is a novelty chance on current form, is ready to win with BEYOND THE SEA (10) to run home well. Good race.

Tips: 9 6 7 4

Suggested Bet: DOURADO (9) each way.

Race 6

Tricky race here as a couple of fancies are finding it hard to break through. WICKED WINDERMERE (5) is versatile and racing strongly but just won’t stick his head out and OAKLEY (8) is heading into the same level with multiple placings since coming across to WA, he faces a tricky draw too. BOOM IT UP (7) has found good form and the field will suit as he is really savaging the line, has the want for victory. BETTOR WASH UP (9) has shown promise and is now first up with Michael George who does a good job with a small stable. PAPER CRANE (1) trialled up soundly and has shown promise and could run well in this.

Tips: 7 9 8 5

Suggested Bet: BOOM IT UP (7) to win.

Race 7

PAPPINBARRA LADY (3) drops back into a very winnable race and can bounce on the lead in this and be very hard to beat, can make it 2 out of 3 which I have been told isn’t bad. JACK MANNIX (9) has the ability but also capable of throwing in some tricks, his best is good enough to feature. WAHINE TOA (2) has put in a good run this preparation that I keep coming back to, early speed isn’t there but should run well if she goes like she did at Bunbury 5 runs ago. IDEALINCIDER (8) will be better suited to this draw and expect to see him hitting the line well.
