The step up to 1400m tomorrow looks suitable and I’m expecting him to run well on an each-way basis. RACE 6 No. 9 Grand Dreamer Victorian trained galloper from the Robert Smerdon stable who has had the one run back from a break finishing close up at Ballarat late last month. His second up record is good and he has had the benefit of a recent Caulfield jump-out (ran 5th). In form jockey Kerrin McEvoy has been booked, the early money has been strong, looks primed to win. RACE 7 No. 6 Nieta John Thompson trained mare who resumes from a break tomorrow with an imposing first up record. She’s yet to miss out at both fresh starts to date and has also won her only 3 outings on Soft ground which is the likely rating tomorrow. Two recent trial placings will have sharpened her up nicely for tomorrow’s assignment.
