Chris’ Randwick Best Bets Posted on October 13, 2017 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Preview RACE 1 No. 12 Don’t Give A Damn Really like the look of this lightly raced galloper from the Danny Williams stable who was so impressive winning at Rosehill back towards the end of September. He sat up on the speed on that occasion before charging away in the straight to score by 6.5 lengths. Yes this is harder however he’ll take plenty of improvement from the win and can repeat the dose tomorrow. RACE 4 No. 11 Suncraze If I’m confident with the above selection then I’ve just got to tip this one as he beat Don’t Give A Damn when he last raced giving that runner 6kg! He also won a similar race here at Randwick the run prior over tomorrow’s 1400m distance charging away to score by 3 lengths. Primed for this with a recent barrier trial victory at Newcastle. RACE 6 No. 2 Big Duke Victorian visitor from the Darren Weir yard who loves racing in Sydney and is just busting to win a race. Hit the line strongly his final two Melbourne starts before just giving away too much ground yet again running on well in a leader dominated affair here a fortnight back. He is a winner here over the 2600m trip and can repeat that performance tomorrow.
