Perth Cup Rankings Posted on December 9, 2020December 10, 2020 | Posted by Digby Beacham 1 – NEUFBOSC Not prepared to give up on this bloke yet. Was outclassed in the Kingston Town Classic at WFA., but the start prior he stormed over the top of his rivals in the Listed Carbine Club Stakes over 1400m. 2 – MIDNIGHT BLUE Won arrogantly last month and was superb behind Adornment the weekend just gone. Backs up Saturday in the Towton Cup and gets the services of William Pike. Prepping up beautifully. 3 – SPIRITUAL WARRIOR Had excuses second-up when carrying 61kg and finishing 12th of 12 in the Tatts Cup. Is an out-and-out stayer and hails from the right stable. 4 – ROYAL COMMAND Failed in the race 12 months ago, but has come back in excellent order and couldn’t have done any more at his most recent outing. No surprise to see him open up favourite for the weekend’s Towton Cup. 5 – MISSILE LAUNCH Was back and never a hope in the Kingston Town. Will appreciate the return to handicap conditions. Overdue for a nice barrier. Market Market * This list has been compiled with the view TRULY GREAT will not progress to the Perth Cup because of too much weight.
