RACE 3 No. 8 Call The Captain

Lightly raced galloper who only broke through for his Maiden victory at the Sunshine Coast two starts back however quickly measured up in much stronger grade beating all bar the smart Zamex at Rosehill last start, keep in mind Zamex has form around another smart galloper Niccanova. He should roll forward tomorrow settling in the first couple, with a wet track to suit he’ll take a ton of getting past.

RACE 5 No. 2 Sundance

Toby Edmonds trained gelding who resumes from a break tomorrow off the back of a strong recent Doomben trial win. He led from the outset clocking slick time to beat Stella Ombra with a gap to the rest, keep in mind Stella Ombra won the last race at Randwick last Saturday proving the trial form strong. From a perfect alley tomorrow he can land the right run and prove very hard to beat.

RACE 7 No. 1 Benzini

Kiwi visitor who’s Winter Carnival aim was to defend his Brisbane Cup crown last week at Doomben where he clocked in 4th losing no admirers in the process. He really does appear a class above his rivals in tomorrow’s Ipswich Cup even accounting for the 60kg impost. This is clearly the easiest field he’s met this campaign which includes a first up Group 1 second. Should just win!
