He led from the outset clocking slick time to beat Stella Ombra with a gap to the rest, keep in mind Stella Ombra won the last race at Randwick last Saturday proving the trial form strong. From a perfect alley tomorrow he can land the right run and prove very hard to beat. RACE 7 No. 1 Benzini Kiwi visitor who’s Winter Carnival aim was to defend his Brisbane Cup crown last week at Doomben where he clocked in 4th losing no admirers in the process. He really does appear a class above his rivals in tomorrow’s Ipswich Cup even accounting for the 60kg impost.
