Harry Buchanan’s Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on July 18, 2023July 18, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 5 Zeak and No. 6 Marla Penny The 5 isn’t badly boxed here especially if the dog inside him brings her usual box manners. He can muster very quickly and take a forward slot and be hard to stop. The 6 will go well here and should also get some early room to operate. She is going better than it looks on paper and can run home well in this company. Race 6 No. 8 Danni’s Gem and No. 5 Frank The Tank The 8 needs to step again but she could spear around quickly here and if she found the arm that would be it. No luck her past few and she will threaten with a good getaway. The 5 is racing well and is over the odds here. Will come out and push through the middle to the forward spot and he could cross these. Good record here and he’s a chance. Race 7 No. 1 All Over Kite Form isn’t great but the box can turn that all around here. She is enigmatic but very talented for a dog who has only won 1 from 18. She puts in fast runs up the back and strong home and gets her chance to stun these with a spear out start and an opportunity to find the lead. They won’t catch her if she does. Race 8 No. 8 Getaway Sticks and No. 4 Cyclone Rupee A couple for the blowout here. The 8 is better than he looks and he can surprise here. Runs a lot of placings but he has been racing better dogs and is far from hopeless in this. The 4 could surprise if she gets a look up the back. She’s a big girl who has raced mostly at Northam lately and could hit top 2 with a strong run home at odds. Both dogs capable of upsetting the party here. Race 10 No. 7 Sneaky George and No. 2 Dozen Staples The 7 is a big awkward young dog but he’s talented and can go well here. Has a lovely gear change he could utilise up the back over this trip and the small field will give him a chance to put that on show. Hard it’s stop here. The 2 will run her usual honest race where she works home well each time. Just keeps coming and could nab a top 2 spot with a clean run into the back. Race 12 No. 5 Odds On Brax and No. 4 Call Me Trinity The 5 gets his best chance to show that box speed and bounce back here. Missed it off the red last week which is unlike him and expect a better step off him this week. He doesn’t have much to cross inside here so only has to nail that early task to feature. The 4 will step quickly but she lacks muster to go with it and drops back only to come again late in the race. She can pass a few of these at least and hit the frame. Keep in mind. Market Market
