Harry Buchanans Tuesday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on October 17, 2023October 17, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 5 No. 1 Maximum Carnage Boxed to drive up early here and while he likes to use middle track, he has ability to step and punch here. Just needs to hold his line the first 50m and he’s the one to stop. Race 6 No. 6 Ziggy Boom Manage to find 100 checks in a 6 dog field last week. Clumsy but has ability and will be double figures here. Can sustain a strong run home and it’s not the hardest novice so a better step this time will see him run a big race. Race 7 No. 5 Messed Up Mary and No. 8 Emmy Nakayama This could be a blowout here. The 5 is more than capable of spearing on to the arm and becoming very hard to catch. Don’t ignore her here as she doesn’t have much to cross. The 8 will get a great cart over off the 7 as well and she can hit the frame at odds. These favs need to do everything right here so both 5 and 7 are with each way specs. Race 8 No. 3 Leg Press and No. 5 Opie Monelli The 3 was good from off the arm last week. Can rocket out to the lead early here and she’s hard to catch when she gets the arm solo. The 5 has been stepping better lately and he looks ready. Enigmatic but good, he can run home into the frame here with a little luck early. Race 9 No. 9 Slowly Drifting Gets a start from box 3 and that makes him a chance now. Just needs to hold a forward spot and he can run into this strongly. No luck with box draws lately so will appreciate this change. Each way player this time as he’s going better than his form shows. Race 11 No. 1 City Cowboy and No. 2 Barossa Rose Look for the 1 to pounce on to the lure here. Speared out off box 4 last time and a repeat sees him lead throughout. The 2 will get a lovely drag here and she’s not hopeless. Runs her 22 and that will get her into the finish off this draw. Each way for her. Race 12 No. 4 Teenage Rampage and No. 1 Sophie Raider The 4 is racing as good as he ever has. Makes a good run through the middle and went good time last win. The 1 will fence punch home and she just needs to hold up early. Some speed outside her could hold the outside up. She will go well here. Market Market
