Slightly disappointing last week but expect no excuses this time. Should drive up quickly, take over and that will be it. Must produce and can justify the short quote. Race 7 No. 2 Bazinga Boy Don’t underestimate him over this shorter trip. He goes well at this track and while he is doing good work over the 500, he can step and show speed over this trip just as well and if he leads, he wins. Good show. Race 8 No. 2 Tangled Web and No. 6 Ether Monelli Both dogs poised to go well here. The 2 faces easier company this time and can get the good first turn run here and is strong. The 6 tracks over early and has shown a liking for this circuit and can finish top 2 if she gets there quickly. Top 2 hopes to both dogs. Race 10 No. 3 Romantic Flame and No. 1 Blue Intention The 3 is resuming and while she is better known as a stayer, she has ability and can sprint well fresh as she has before. The 1 is boxed to give a sight this time. Likes it here and is drawn to get every hope early to land right there. Runs home well. Race 12 No. 8 Springview Angus While the trip is short of his best, the box and track will be right up his alley. Disappointed last week at Cannington but yet to miss the frame here and only has to come out with them and sit up wide to be a major force running home here. Looks a huge threat. ALBION PARK Race 3 No. 3 Sunburst Has one of the worst flat spots I’ve ever seen in a greyhound. Jumps quickly and drives up to the arm only to drop off badly through the middle and get going late again. If she can overcome that flat area with a lap to go and stay close, she will hit the line to be a frame player here at odds. Race 4 No. 1 Elite Machine and No. 8 Pudding Monelli The 1 is in the caretaker hands of T Brett. The best in the business. He’s seen the track PTP and will use his pace to try and hold the arm first turn. Hard to catch if he does. The 8 is a big price and he actually has his best draw here now. Don’t be surprised to see him improve sharply here and thunder home late at odds. Place heavy for him. Race 5 No. 8 Crackerjack Aret Continues to race well here and another who gets a good draw. Makes a sustained run home from the back and is ready to produce his very best now at his 3rd look here. Will be hitting the line strongest with clear running. Race 6 No. 8 Shipwreck Had absolutely no luck last week when flattened at box rise then given no peace to recover until it was too late. The smaller field the speed up front will allow him to get into his work without fuss this time and he is more than capable of hitting top 2 here. Race 7 No. 9 Spot On Harper While she is unlikely to get a start, she is a huge price for a dog who stays all day and has no luck at all in the heat. Kept finding road blocks until she finally got clear but the birds had flown. Prefer her in the later race where she has a much better chance but will get a place heavy spec if she gets the run here. Race 8 No. 1 Days Of Thunder With only four runners, it’s now or never for this one. Has a paralysing middle and last section when she gets her momentum up uninterrupted and gets every conceivable hope to do that here. Her best run home is unstoppable here. Only has to bring it. Race 9 No. 8 Spot On Harper See Race 7. Huge show in this. Race 10 No. 2 Nandos Dreamer Tragedy rolled last week. Speared out and almost led but was knocked around out the back first turn before she got back into her work to charge home again. 24 time winner so she knows how to get it done and 9 of those have been here. Box the key this time and a huge chance now. SANDOWN PARK Race 4 No. 8 Zoha Bale Awful last week. Never ever got into it nor looked likely. That’s not him and he’s done this before so giving him another go. Can reel off incredible sectionals when he’s on and the small field will let him turn up here if he wants to. Can figure top 2. Race 5 No. 7 Lederhosen Boy Like this dog and getting another price about him to go again. A shame there isn’t 3 divs but he’s capable and don’t dismiss him here. Can sprint and stay and has a strong middle section that could put him in this without surprise. Top 2 player at the big odds. Race 6 No. 5 Rock Me Rocco Enigmatic customer who can give a sight if he steps here. Does his best work on the arm but his last few have shown he’s close and just needs to offset the box early and he could get away here. Good effort last time behind a dog in form. Race 10 No. 2 Spring Gonzales He can do something here. Is a little underrated and will probe for inside runs and if they appear, he can run home stoutly. Hits the frame often around this circuit and will again look likely if he’s chiming in up the back. Top 2 chance at great odds. Race 11 No. 7 Shima Stella Has let us down her last two but this has no excuses here. She’s the fastest dog in the race and can handle the wide draw. Only has to obtain a clean run into the back and they won’t hold her off. Start critical but her best wins. Race 12 No. 4 Royal Gypsy Start more than critical for this one. We are simply betting on her leading. She can’t win otherwise. Can run these along if she holds the front and is hard to catch. She’s no hope if something heads her. Must lead. Market Market
