Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Tips Posted on January 14, 2023January 14, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 2 Robotnik He’s running a few placings but this has to be his chance surely. Slow starts costly lately but small field and the fact he should settle closer gives him a big top two hope. Race 7 No. 1 Spin The Bottle Progressive and promising. Boxed superbly here and if he can settle up and stay out of trouble early, he can start his work up the back and run into this. Getting better and great hope to hit the top two against these. Race 10 No. 8 Block Chain Trained by a magician and while he doesn’t excel here like he may at Mandurah, he goes well enough and is in form. Run last week superb and only needs to slide over with little fuss to figure. Another who can finish top two easily at the price. Race 11 No. 1 Fortified Mack Has the draw to win here. Very talented and will develop into a nice middle type later. Been running into some smart ones recently but gets every possible here. No excuses and while she can sometimes lack early dash, if she finds the front at ANY stage, the race is over and it will be like the great wordsmith Brad Cook says….a fait accompli. THE MEADOWS Race 3 No. 1 Indy Fido He has his box and only needs to use it now. Goes fast up the back here and can sustain it home. Loves racing at the track and hard to beat. Race 4 No. 1 Octavia Bale Best smokie all night here. In a race where there is some suspect 500m dogs including this fav, she can hold the fence and drive home strongly as she does. Place heavy play here and look for her late. Race 6 No. 7 Call Me Marley and No. 8 Jigglypuff The 7 has the form to get it done. Tremendous at Bendigo and been racing better dogs. Wide draw no problems. Have a little spec EW on the 8. She can surprise here and has got figures at the track. Hits the line hard and has some claims at big odds. Race 9 No. 2 Rock Me Rocco and No. 3 Master The Art The 2 is enigmatic but his run in the heat was enormous considering he was turned inside out. Better draw here and can step and run along. The 3 is different dog when he leads and that’s a chance of happening here. Hard to get past as he’s very strong. Don’t dismiss him either. Race 10 No. 3 Audenzia This is where this girl can run a race. Mainly because it’s a Horsham to Meadows final and she’s one of few who has form here in better races. Her lack of early toe is why she’s a price but she can cut loose when she’s clear and can run right into this. Place heavy. Race 11 No. 3 My Mate Tip The 3 was superb last start for a dog who rarely leads. Broke the 30 and a repeat gets it done. WENTWORTH PARK Race 4 No. 8 Ritza Piper Very promising stayer on the up. Versatile and strong, the small field is perfect and she just keeps coming. Can handle the draw and only has to get a clean run to figure in this finish. Race 6 No. 4 Coast Model Vacant outside her perfect and her early dash will see her go fast for the arm here. Still running her 70s and 80s which will be very hard to catch if she leads and can win. Race 8 No. 2 Who Told Shorty Boxed right where he needs to be here with speed in 1 and 3. Starts a sustained run home on the fence up the back and will be hard to hold out here if they leave him alone. He’s a great show. Market Market
