Harry Buchanan’s Saturday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on December 2, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 1 No. 4 Storm Alert Broke through last week off the inside with a strong effort. The move to the 4 isn’t that bad and can again land close enough to figure in the finish. Race 2 No. 6 If You Say Will relish the step up in trip after his last two efforts. Box a little tricky but has a motor and a clear run will see him threaten here and hit the frame. Can stay so distance ideal so far in his prep. Race 3 No. 2 West On Nugget Promising staying type who had to work too hard last week behind Couch Surfer. A better step will see him land closer this time and he is the one to beat in this now. Huge show. Race 4 No. 2 Sunset Mirage and No. 4 Hinto The 2 is a youngster who shows good promise. Boxed well and can push up behind the speed here and get into his work up the back. Dont ignore him. The 4 is a weapon who is racing super coming off a Mandurah cup win. Goes just as well here and box is fine for this. Will keep coming. Race 5 No. 1 Saige Tenniele National Sprint champ who shouldn’t be lining up in this. That’s because she should be in a Melbourne cup final tomorrow after being a tragedy beaten last week in the heat. Stopped in her tracks when about to score and simply should have won. Looks hard to beat her if she’s travelled home ok. Race 6 No. 1 Sand Patch Missed the start in the Mandurah cup final off this box. Can step better this time and accelerate along the fence to take up the running. Will be hard to catch if she leads clearly here. Race 12 No. 1 Molfetta Drive This is his race if he comes out off this inside draw. Never had box 1 and can spear spear up early to hold the arm in this with a few running cover mid track. Won’t be caught of he leads this time. Huge show. WENTWORTH PARK Race 5 No. 6 Punters Bandit Coming out of some strong Dapto races, she will appreciate the small field and have a great record here. A few front runners who she can get past quickly, she will be hard to hold out late in this. Race 8 No. 8 One Hot Bandit Kennel mate to the previous who is perfectly drawn here. Has brilliant muster out wide and just needs a good step to use the space and drive up to take over. That will be it if he does lead first turn. Very hard to stop here. SANDOWN PARK Melbourne cup night with the group 1 feature being the highlight along with the group 1 Bold Trease for the stayers. Tremendous support races as well.
