Harry Buchanan’s Sunday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on December 3, 2023December 4, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 8 Romneya Monelli Not a hard race to win. Doesn’t mind the outside and had a confidence booster 3 starts ago and gone well since. Just needs a good step and she will be in the finish. Race 3 No. 7 Be Pacific Speaking of not being too tough a race, this bloke won’t get a better chance. Trialled more than well enough to win this and only his box manners are stopping him scoring here. If he’s close into the back they won’t hold him out. First 50m decides his race. Race 6 No. 3 Improvise and No. 1 Flaming Gas Giving the 3 one last go here. Not the same dog since Northam closed and that sadly might be it for this girl. Her best would go well here but she has to do it here in this field. No more if she doesn’t. The 1 grows two legs when she draws red. Has a great record off the inside and this is easier than she’s faced recently. Goes well here. Race 7 No. 1 Butter Me Up Starting to work it all out. Box manners on song and early speed to burn. Will get away here with her usual clean step and a repeat of her last start will see her very hard to catch. The one to beat. Race 8 No. 1 Gypsy Rumba and No. 7 Winlock News The 1 was strong last start at Mandurah and is equally adept here. Placed 4 from 4 off the box and will look the winner at some stage with a good getaway. The 7 will look to spear over here as well and if he found the top early he would be hard to catch. Winner of his only start track and trip and looks a good show. Race 11 No. 6 Runs On Gas Was about to burst through the pack last week when they stopped him cold. Plays for a little luck again but he goes fast when he finds his feet and any first turn luck will see him threaten at odds. Each way go here. Race 12 No. 2 Ronnie Ranger and No. 8 Provisional Ball The 2 won’t get it any easier to find the arm here. Has a bit on these at her best and can lead all the way if she is on. The 8 was super last start. Came out well then went fast to sweep around and score. Well drawn and a repeat could be on. SALE Race 4 No. 7 Stomping and No. 8 Lakeview Nola The 7 is starting his Sale cup campaign here. Big win over the middle trip in town and looks like he will relish this track and trip. The 7 is a sneaky local who can figure. Was good over the middle trip two starts back and won a sprint well here last time. Don’t dismiss her at odds. Race 5 No. 5 Your Colour Room A weapon when he steps and leads. Will be simply not for catching if he holds the arm at the first turn. Track record holder and only needs to come out his usual best to win. Market Market
