Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Tips

MANDURAH

Race 2 No. 1 Stimulus

Looks boxed to win. Can take a step or two to get going but with a wider runner outside her she gets her room here and has a super record track and trip. Goes close.

Race 3 No. 7 Sweet Emily

Big overs here for a dog who has already mixed it with FFA company and gone well. Ran a good 2nd last start at Cannington behind a short course weapon and has super form here. Great EW show if she steps.

Race 4 No. 2 Launch Control and No. 7 Gangnam Monelli

The Birthday Cup final. A field of bullets here. However there are two dogs that have been completely disrespected in the market. How the 2 is $51 is a mystery. Yes he’s enigmatic but can come from anywhere and do anything when he wants to and Lewis has sorted him out lately. Boxed to get the sneaky run here too. EW go place heavy and can run a race. The 7 was dynamite last week and another example of what Lewis Clay can do as a trainer when he gets these tried dogs. Mustered brilliantly in his heat and even better drawn this week. Don’t ignore at all. Can get into this. Great race.

Race 5 No. 8 Delphini

Sounding like a broken record with these Lewis Clay runners. This bloke excellent last time off the same draw and has a stack of talent. Will hold his wide line again and only has to come out with them to be a force. Big show.

Race 6 No. 5 Daph’s Yak

Tremendous WA debut last week when missing the start yet making an electric mid race run to hit the line well. Improves again and has good VIC form for this kind of race. Goes well here.

Race 11 No. 8 West On Sadie

Finally gets her preferred wide draw. Been hitting the line hard after wanting off lately when drawing in and can be where she wants immediately here. Only has to be close to hit top 2.

WARRAGUL

Race 6 No. 8 Holy Smoke

Any amount of ability this girl. Loves it here, has a blistering turn of foot and boxed perfectly. Can rush down the outside and if she takes over at any stage it’s check and mate.

Race 8 No. 5 Panadero Warrior and No. 6 Money Owes

The Warragul Cup Final. Full of one turn weapons. The 5 has a sticky draw but he’s got one of the best turns of foot after the start you will see. He can step here and drive up to be a major force. Speaking of talent, the 6 has it in spades. Beat Wow Shes Fast last week in the heat and it was no fluke. He wears the shades however for a reason. If he’s switched on, none of these will beat him. He’s a price however as he can do plenty wrong. He just needs to turn up again.

WENTWORTH PARK

Race 1 No. 6 Showman Jack

Gee, this is a serious animal. His run at Albion Park was enormous and back to WP is the key here. Eight-time winner at the track, unbeaten off the box and only needs half a look here. Can run time.

Race 3 No. 5 Canya Smoke Them and No. 7 Palawa King

The 5 was stiff at Gosford and should have gone close. Back here is more suitable. Five-time winner at the track and is highly promising. Box the only issue as he needs a few steps to muster up. Hard to beat if he gets early room. The 7 will get back but has a barnstorming run home and age restricted company suits as he’s experienced here. Just needs a break up the back and he hits the podium.
