RACE 4 No.2 Scallopini

Magic Millions Day can always be a tough one on the punt however if I had to label one a ‘good thing’ still in black figures it would be this super consistent sprinter from the O’Dea/Hoysted yard. He’s good fresh, trialled softly, jumped out even better on Tuesday and races well here on the track. He maps in the first four or so and that should be ideal.

RACE 5 No.5 Me Me Lagarde

She needs to stand up on Saturday and I think she will. Terrific last year on this day in the 3yo Guineas charging home from the back to beat all bar the winner King Of Sparta she hasn’t had a lot go her way at limited runs since. She did however show what she was capable of when winning the Tattersall’s Classic here two starts back.

RACE 8 No.4 Yellow Brick

Just how good is he? Well, we’re all about to find out on Saturday when he tackles the Magic Millions 3yo Guineas at start number 7 having been defeated only once & that was on debut with valid excuses. He just might be the perfect racehorse, settles on speed, absorbs pressure & when challenged, just pulls out another gear. Confident he can land the big prize!
