Harry Buchanan’s Friday Greyhound Best Bets Posted on June 16, 2023June 16, 2023 | Posted by TABtouch CANNINGTON Race 2 No. 7 Who’s Got Cruz Has been slowly working back to fitness and form and this is his chance. Was good last week when making ground against better company and just needs to handle the box. EW player. Race 4 No. 2 Redhead Rider and No. 5 Wild Ollie If the 2 holds the arm here you have to wonder how they catch him. They probably don’t with his 500m strength. The 5 could cross if the 2 doesn’t show up and he goes well on the arm here. He just has to get it early. Save there. Race 5 No. 3 Litchfield and No. 6 Blessed Doll The 3 is a big quote here and can figure. Run was super last week and she showed enough at her 600 debut to warrant consideration here. The 6 will be running into this strongly and can win if the breaks come through the middle. They can as well with a few suspect characters in this. Race 6 No. 3 Moment To Boogie and No. 1 Brand New Me The 3 could hold up early and get the arm here. He will take some catching then if that happens. Great EW price. The 1 is a smokie but her best would see her dart out and lead. She too would take a lot of catching. One of them could lead here and they won’t be caught if they do. Race 7 No. 2 Aztec Kid Speaking of leading, some trust is needed with this bloke but the talent is undeniable. He needs the arm quickly or the mind starts to wander. He will track the red up and has superior pace for that dog up the back. Needs to get it done by then however. Take on trust alone. Race 9 No. 6 Big If Thought he would be much shorter here. Drops back to the 380 and his early burn could cross here and there is no way he’s for catching then. Start is what we are betting on. He comes out running and it’s check and mate. Race 11 No. 3 Turtle Fernando and No. 8 Risky Assassin A couple of smokies here that could stun. The 3 musters quickly off the mat and he gets a nice map here behind the pace. Runs a good bend as well. Can figure. The 8 has his box and he is slowly getting there for a result. Will stay out of trouble here and run on late. Place heavy for him. Race 12 No. 2 Luke’s Coal and No. 8 Wells Of Silence Sensational FFA for the jets. 1, 2, 3, 5 and 8 all weapons who can break 16 at some stage. The 2 could surprise here off the good draw. Can come from just off the arm so not leading won’t be a big deal. He won’t want to give any of these too big a start however. The 8 is well boxed and could just fire over here. Can run anything and will be winning if he leads. WARRAGUL The Pink Diamond Series meeting is on at Warragul tonight. Some cracking finals and we will isolate a couple who can figure in a few of these big money events. Race 3 No. 6 Ivy Isobel and No. 7 Kasemi Both these veterans right up to this on their best form. Good EW shots. Race 6 No. 2 Moraine Suzie and No. 7 Hummock The 2 a star stayer when she’s on and she won well last time. The 7 has all sorts of talent when wound up. Big price. Race 7 No. 8 Flip Your Fifty and No. 7 Fab’s Max Potato Fav very hard to beat but there is a stack of speed in this. These two can descend from the back at huge odds and hit the frame. Race 8 No. 7 Shima Shadow and No. 6 Money Owes Cracking sprinters final. Some real weapons here. The 7 will give a sight. He is promising and fast, as is the 6 who is enigmatic but can do anything on his day. Race 9 No. 8 Cheeky Wink Can swish over here off the good draw and repeat the win at Geelong last week. Race 10 No. 7 Compliance and No. 2 Red Reactor The 7 is capable of spearing out and mustering quickly out wide. Strong home up this long straight. The 2 only has to hold a spot early and he will also hit the line hard here. Market Market
