Harry Buchanan’s Daily Greyhound Tips Posted on July 28, 2022July 28, 2022 | Posted by TABtouch MANDURAH Race 3 No. 5 Westdale Hailee Gets the all important grade drop here and that’s always a strong marker for these short course races. She has good box manners and good early speed so can offset the box and be very hard to catch in this company. Race 6 No. 2 Robotnik 2 dog race. The 8 the only one capable of rolling this bloke but the corner start could be telling here and with the 2 getting a good map early, he can track up inside 1 and 3 and accelerate to the front. That should see him hard to stop. Race 9 No. 7 Max Flash Big price about a dog who won’t be caught if he crosses here. Loves a wide draw and flies around here when he’s on. Look for him to go fast early and put himself right on the pace. Can run time and hard to beat. Good race but he’s up to them. Race 11 No. 8 Boom Tux He’s got his box. Take a few steps to the right at box rise and stays wide. Will muster into this and if he gets a clean crack, will be there at the finish. Yet to win here but best chance to break through. Race 12 No. 6 Izuku Looks a bird here. Monster effort last week when charging home from the back behind Wooden Hands to just miss on the line. Has a class edge over this field now and only bad luck will stop him going very very close. Best bet. SANDOWN PARK Race 1 No. 8 Tigger Intention and No. 6 Blow The Whistle A couple of EW shows here that can go well. The 8 made good ground last start after no early luck and he is bred to be strong. Will run on here and can figure. The 6 is racing well and only has to offset the box to be a force late. Consistent and will be hard to beat with clear running. Race 5 No. 6 Chic, No. 4 Osprey Storm and No. 5 Adelong The 6 will again go fast and look to lead and she runs time in front. Was super in her heat and goes well again. The 4 is the danger and if he lands closer early can be hard to stop this week. Don’t dismiss. The 5 will be any old price and worth a small EW spec at a massive quote. Main goes 6 and 4 but the 5 should get a spec also. Race 6 No. 7 Hummock and No. 8 Aston Jonas The 7 has a stack of talent and can lead or come from behind. Runs fast time and handles all draws. Hard to beat if he gets over early. The 8 also has just as much talent and when he gets mobile he can reel off big sections. Will look ominous here and goes super around this track. Race 7 No. 3 Rohan Bale and No. 2 Gypsy Vista The 3 was badly held up in the Fireball final last week and should have finished much closer. Goes well here and will start his run up the back. Big show. The 2 is well drawn now and she can stay. If she lands handy she will stick on all day. Don’t dismiss her chances. Race 8 No. 6 Riccarton Rick and No. 7 Plan Ahead A couple of strong boys out wide here who can get into the finish. The 6 can show pace on his day and he’s hard to stop when he gets his momentum up. The 7 is racing well and hits the line hard. Was good last start then just missing on the line 2 starts back and should have won. EW players Race 9 No. 4 Revolution He looks a standout here but there are a few who can go well behind him. 3,6,7 all at odds can get into the placings so a trifecta stand out play may be the go. Even small win bets on them to save in case. 4-3,6,7-F the likely option however. ANGLE PARK Race 1 No. 8 Diamond Carat and No. 7 Cyclone Jane A final here and both these went well in their heat. The 8 made good ground from back and she has a fairly deep formline for this grade. If she lands just a bit closer she can get over these late. Huge show. The 7 will strip a lot fitter and will go fast early. Won’t be so easy to catch this week if she gets the arm. Race 4 No. 1 Bold Onyx and No. 5 Finniss Redeem The 1 was desperately unlucky last week when he was not only dragged down, but turned sideways at the first turn. Would have gone seriously close had that not occurred. Boxed to shake the life out of this. Big overs for mine. The 5 coming out of the Champion Puppy and Ryan and Loz have him flying. Any sort of clear run will see him also in the finish. Save there for sure. Race 7 No. 7 Runaway Lad Will fly under most radars here and that will be a mistake. With the scratching of Mr Ticket, the small field brings this bloke right into it and Damien Bates has him at his top lately in a superb training performance. Look for him to hit the line here harder than anything. Can run top 2. Race 8 No. 3 Redeem A Prize and No. 7 On The Tequila Good race with many hopes. The 3 is a sneaky threat here and if she gets through her flat spot, will be there at the end. Was good last start behind a weapon and won well prior to that. The 7 is always thereabouts and while enigmatic, can reel off winning sections here. If she lands close early and runs into it up the back, she will take some stopping. Race 9 No. 2 Yankee Constanza and No. 1 Whiskey Soda The 2 will go fast to lead here. Fitter now and very different dog on the arm. Hard to run down with a clear lead and looks a solid play. The 1 is the only dog he doesn’t want on his tail turning. She has her box and she can drop a last section. She is boxed to threaten. They should fight this out as there are huge doubts over the 7s ability to go on when he doesn’t lead. He doesn’t lead here if the 2 steps. Race 11 No. 4 Powder Finger Dropping back from a huge win over the 595m trip last start. The step back to 530m should not worry and will look to start his work up the back. Will take a stack of holding out here and should hit top 2 with any luck at all. Market Market
