Trent’s Gloucester Park Preview Posted on October 12, 2017 | Posted by Trent Cooper Trent Cooper’s Preview Race 1: RETRAVISION, LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEED THE PREUX CHEVALIER MARES HEAT 2 MS PACE MILLVIEW SIENNA (2) started inside ROCKIN THE BOYS (6) but was crossed and beaten by that mare two starts back. She was then impressive in winning in 1.56.9 here and is the one to beat if she can use her barrier advantage. ROCKIN THE BOYS (6) has been able to lead in four of her last five starts, winning them all. Her chances will be greatly improved if she can cross and is the main danger. MODERN LOVE (1) and GUNNA GET LUCKY (10) look good place hopes from their draws. Tips: 2 6 1 10 Suggested Bet: MILLVIEW SIENNA (2) to win. Race 2: RETRAVISION 60 DAY PRICE PRMISE MARES MS PACE SHE COULD BE GOOD (1) has won three of her last five, including a last start win over THE SPINSTER (5) when she ran on from near the rear. She is the likely leader tonight and should prove hard to catch. SEA ME SMILE (10) has finished 2nd at her last three starts and should get a nice run on the pegs here. BETTOR BLING (3) was desperately unlucky when fancied last start and should be thereabouts. THE SPINSTER (5) isn’t racing at her top but her last effort was sound and she is capable of further improvement. Tips: 1 10 3 5 Suggested Bet: SHE COULD BE GOOD (1) to win. Race 3: ELECTROLUX MS PACE FIFTH EDITION (1) led and was run down late by Jaxon Fella in a 1.55.2 mile rate two starts back before battling on well to finish 2nd here last week. He isn’t certain to hold up but will give them something to catch if he can lead. JOHNNY DISCO (8) has beaten better fields than this recently and is capable of overcoming the wide draw. SHIRLZ SENSATION (3) was a great 2nd to Thereugo before disappointing last start and is right in this at his best. CHAR DO NEIGH (10) is drawn to get a nice run and could be the value runner. Tips: 1 8 3 10 Suggested Bet: FIFTH EDITION (1) to win. SuperPick - Race 3 no. 1 FIFTH EDITION - Money Back Race 4: WESTINGHOUSE MS PACE SIGHTSEEING ANVIL (10) has been unplaced at his last five starts but he has been racing in better fields. He is awkwardly drawn but will be running on strongly if he gets the breaks. ONA HAPPY NOTE (3) was a fair 5th behind Im Rockaria at his first run back from a spell and is the best drawn of the winning chances. YACKANDANDAH (4) drops a long way in class for this assignment and can improve on his recent runs. ATLASTALONE (7) has been performing well in stands and can figure here. Tips: 10 3 4 7 Suggested Bet: SIGHTSEEING ANVIL (10) each way. Race 5: CELEBRATING MELISSA RENOUF 3 MS PACE ITZ BETTOR TO WIN (8) was heavily supported to start favourite over Soho Tribeca but found that pacer too strong last start. This is a significant drop in class and he is the one to beat despite the wide draw. RYCROFT (2) wasn’t far away when 6th in the same race and would be a huge chance if he can find the top. JAXON FELLA (1) has won his last two off soft runs and looks a great each way chance again. MACH TIME (7) has been placed at four of his last five in similar company and can be in the money again. Tips: 8 2 1 7 Suggested Bet: ITZ BETTOR TO WIN (8) to win. Race 6: SIMPSON MS PACE MOTU PREMIER (3) has won nine of his last 11 starts and has been very impressive in the process. He would be nigh on unbeatable if he found the front but will give a great sight from the breeze. His stablemate, EL HOMBRE (1), is racing extremely well and will give a big sight if he holds the front. NATURAL DISASTER (9) won four of his five starts last campaign and is up to these on ability but has a wide draw to overcome. AMERICAN BOY (10) can be placed at big odds from his nice trailing draw. Tips: 3 1 9 10 Suggested Bet: MOTU PREMIER (3) to win. Race 7: FRED DOY MS PACE IM FULL OF EXCUSES (4) won six of his 11 starts last campaign and started from a wide draw when 5th to SIMPLY SUSATIONAL (5) at his first start back from a break. He will be fitter for that effort and is better drawn tonight. SIMPLY SUSATIONAL (5) was a good winner of that event and should be in the finish again. IDEAL TYSON (2) led throughout to win two starts back before a close up 3rd to Soho Tribeca and will run a big race if he leads. MAJOR REALITY (6) is one of the state’s best mares and should be charging home. Tips: 4 5 2 6 Suggested Bet: IM FULL OF EXCUSES (4) to win. Race 8: DISHLEX MS PACE LIVURA (9) ran a nice 3rd to Our Zak Whitby two starts back before facing the breeze when 6th to Idealindiamonds. This is a massive drop in class and he can overcome the wide draw. TUAS DELIGHT (8) raced in stronger company at his only two WA starts and looks the danger if he is ready for this assignment first-up. HAWKEYE BROMAC (2) and NISEKO (1) don’t have the class of the favoured pair but have the draws to be in the money. Tips: 9 8 2 1 Suggested Bet: LIVURA (9) to win. RACE 9: KELVINATOR MS PACE EXTREME PRINCE (4) was a beaten favourite at his two WA starts earlier in the year and resumes here without a trial. He obviously has more ability than he showed in those runs and isn’t facing strong opposition. RUDIMENTAL SOL (1) didn’t have much luck at his last start and should give a great sight from the pole. IM BATMAN (9) has his share of ability but performs below expectations more often than not so take on trust from this draw. HILO ANGUS (7) will be running on and is the best of the rest. Tips: 4 1 9 7 SUGGESTED BET: EXTREME PRINCE (4) to win. Bet Now
