He’d placed at all 3 lead up trials and did come in for some late support firming from $19 to $14. The tempo was solid that day suggesting 1400 will suit nicely. RACE 7 No.8 Skyman Chris Waller trained galloper who caught the eye last start making solid ground here over 1800m. He should be right at his peak now having had the 4 runs back from a break and the step up to 2000m is a big positive as 2 of his 5 wins have been at the trip. He hasn’t won for a little while however won’t get a better chance than he does on Saturday. RACE 9 No.10 Per Inaway Former Kiwi galloper now with Kris Lees who made his local debut here a fortnight ago finishing too strongly to run over the leader over the concluding stages. He won at 1300m and placed at 1400m back home, based on that and what we saw at that first up win I can only see the step up to 1300m tomorrow as being positive.
