Chris Nelson’s Randwick Preview Posted on August 5, 2016August 8, 2016 | Posted by Chris Nelson RACE 3 No.5 Three Sheets Cessnock trained gelding who ran well in his home town feature the ‘Jungle Juice Cup ‘ last time out after missing the start hitting the line strongly late. He was stepping up 350m on that occasion off his prior win at Randwick 10 days earlier. An absolute swimmer he’ll have conditions to suit tomorrow and looks very hard to beat. RACE 4 No.5 Attainment Wagga Wagga trained galloper who is having his 4th crack at one of these Highway races tomorrow and he just may have found the right one. He’s steadily improved at his last 3 starts having been beaten less than a length last time out when looking the winner until the closing stages. Loves the wet and gets another chance tomorrow. RACE 9 No.1 Haptic Godolphin trained gelding making his return to the track tomorrow having not raced since clocking in 3rd behind Keen Array at Caulfield in the spring of last year. Liked the way he looked winning a recent Warwick Farm trial sharing the lead before cruising to victory. Placed at his only heavy track start behind Counterattack he can run very well here should the support come for him in the market.
