Race 1

SEMANTICS has race experience and resumes, won her most recent Mornington jumpout in good style, a filly with speed, 1000m suits. Also nominated for Cranbourne Friday in a potentially stronger race than this one. AROUSED is a well-bred filly for the Begg stable, another jumping out well, 1000m may be on the short side. SABRINA is on debut, Blue Point filly lining up on the home track suited to 1000m, a watch in betting. NAUTIQUE can improve on what she did in her first prep.

Race 2

Mehsun looked good at the jumpouts resuming at the Heath and was poor beaten a long way, vet excuse, D Lane giving him another chance, as am i. Local SISTERS RUN will be improved for the experience at 2000m on the home track last start, Billy Egan from a low draw, should get a soft run. UNOYASELF can take a position early from a wide draw and stick on as he did at Geelong, the rise in trip suits. COURTING is off a gap between runs, likely the best horse to come out of this if you trust the set-up.

Race 3

Open race. SO ROYAL is on debut for A&S Freedman, 1400m suits if she’s up to some of these more experienced runners. BRAEMAR HILL was good when wide at Sale on debut hitting the line, showed al ot of talent at the jumpouts early, working back from a long lay off. Sure to be fitter.  HEDJET holds a tight grip on the market and was beaten by a progressive type last start, FULL CONFIDENCE hadn’t shown much at the jumpouts yet took strong market support on debut, needs to improve.

Race 4

PERFECT NIGHT is well-placed second-up at after a good finish at Geelong where they ran along, should get another good tempo in this with REGAL MIGHT the likely leader. MISS ELLANEOUS went to Bordertown for another win last start and with a firm track she can repeat the effort up in class. VENETIAN CHOICE drops in behind for a soft run in transit. D Lane stalking. KINGSBURY will also race handy from a good draw, stuck on well at Geelong.

Race 5

YAUSON franked strong form lines with an impressive Seymour win second-up, wide draw the big knock, plenty of speed inside of him. CROCODILE was luckless last start, should get all favours from a better draw this time, doubt there’s much between the two. TANGANYIKA has early career form which measures up well at this level and broke through in a BM66 last time on a firm surface, from gate 1, a nice run, definite hop again. REVOLVER can hit the line hard late first-up at the mile.

Race 6

CAVILL AVENUE was a professional debut winner at Ballarat and has returned in good form at the jumpouts, lacks a bit in size, tricky draw, has talent. WONDEFUL SKY has winning claims if she overcome a wide draw, like what she’s been doing at the jumpouts, was green early and always going to get better with time, looks set for a big preparation. HANDEE maps for an identical run as she received at Caulfield Heath tagging the speed runners. MULL OF KINTYRE may have needed the run fresh when she was in a holding pattern scratched a couple of times. Inside draw a big advantage for her pattern.

Race 7

AURORA BELLE looks a smart kiwi filly with a positive racing style and can’t fault her jumpouts with the new stable. Drawn wide and also nominated for a softer option at Bendigo on Sunday. If she takes her place here it’s a good race to kick off on a winning note. SULEK did very little last campaign, recent jumpouts have been outstanding and could win this without surprise on the form he’s showing in the mornings. CARRIEDO started favourite in a strong fillies’ race at Flem and was under attack up front from a number of runners, clear forgive effort. She too has drawn wide, has gate speed to cross. BALANCE drops in behind for last crack.

Race 8

HOTSPUR REALE led up an incorrectly timed heat at Pakenham jumpouts over 1000m and looks ready to go first-up after being in work for some time now. YOLO was a soft winner on turf after bumping into a subsequent metro winner at Ballarat on the poly first-up. This is a much a stronger race, respect in current form. BLUE HUMMA is a genuine speed horse suited at 1000m. MY ZEPHYR has shown she can run a race first-up after a recent Geelong jumpout win.
