RACE 1 – No.1 Emerald City

Arguably the most in form horse going around in Queensland at the moment having won 4 straight. The latest was his most dominant and again he gets in nicely at the weights tomorrow after Josh Oliver’s claim only having to carry a kilo more than the last start victory. With only a handful of opponents the almost even money available in early markets looks a steal.

RACE 2 – No.1 Bring It Home Pop

Youngster from the Darryl Hanson stable on the Sunshine Coast who put in a terrific performance on debut here when surging to the lead and looking the winner before being run down late behind the impressive Cellargirl two weeks ago.  The winner found the better going out wide and this one is bound to have derived plenty of benefit from the outing. Big chance to go one better

RACE 9 – No.4 River Racer

Terrific run first up here a fortnight back closing off strongly from the rear off the field to beat all bar the winner in a race run to suit those up on or near the pace. The additional 200m tomorrow will play into her hands and the wide draw doesn’t concern as she’ll be able to wind up with an unimpeded run down the straight. Great value.
