Chris Nelson’s Eagle Farm Best Bets Posted on December 20, 2019 | Posted by Chris Nelson Chris Nelson’s Best Bets RACE 1 No.5 Gotta Kiss Very promising filly from the Steve O’Dea yard whose main aim is of course the Magic Millions in January. She certainly appears on the right track if her 7 length barrier trial romp at Deagon last week is any indication. She’s shown plenty on raceday as well though winning with authority on debut before being narrowly beaten when ridden close up her only other run. She’ll be pouncing late! RACE 5 No.1 Don’t Waiver Sunshine Coaster who goes around in the Group 3 Grand Prix. He’s busting to get out over this trip and to also return to Eagle Farm as although placed his past couple at Doomben he just doesn’t seem to handle the tighter turning track there as well. He’s better than each-way odds which seems a bet to nothing as I can’t see him missing a place. RACE 7 No.6 Mewstone Rock Backmarking mare who will be suited getting to Eagle Farm tomorrow. She relished the long run home at her home track on the Sunshine Coast two back steaming past her rivals before charging to the line at Doomben a fortnight back once finding clear running. Although the tempo in the race appears only moderate I’m still confident she’ll be able to mow them down late Quaddie 2, 5, 6, 10, 13, 17 6 3, 4, 9, 10 7, 10, 14 Market Market
